Jimin lay on the cold floor, his breath ragged, his body trembling in fear. Sungwoon eyes dark with malicious intent. Jimin's heart pounded in his chest, a silent cry for help escaping his lips.
"S-stop…" Jimin managed to whisper, his voice barely audible.
But before Sungwoon could do more, a powerful force surged through the air. In an instant, Sungwoon was hurled away from Jimin, crashing into a wall. The h shook with the impact.
Jimin looked up, eyes wide with shock. Standing between him and Sungwoon was his alpha, the one person who had always protected him. But this time, Jungkook wasn't just a man. He had transformed into the most dangerous wolf in the pack, his fur bristling with rage, his eyes glowing with an intense, deadly light.
A low growl rumbled from Jungkook's chest, echoing through the trees. He bared his sharp fangs, his gaze locked onto Sungwoon.
"Stay away from my omega," Jungkook growled, his voice filled with a dangerous promise. The forest seemed to hold its breath, the silence thick with tension.
Jungkook's eyes blazed with fury as he pounced on Sungwoon, who was still recovering from being slammed against the wall. The room echoed with the sound of their fierce struggle. Sungwoon, desperate to gain the upper hand, kicked Jungkook hard in the stomach, sending him stumbling back. But the pain only fueled Jungkook's anger, and he immediately lunged forward again.
They were locked in a brutal dance, their movements a blur of raw aggression. Scratching, punching, kicking, yanking, and even biting—each blow was aimed to weaken the other. Jungkook’s mind was consumed with one thought: he had to protect his mate at any cost.
Sungwoon fought with everything he had, but he could feel himself weakening under Jungkook’s relentless assault. Jungkook was a force of nature, driven by a primal need to defend Jimin. His teeth were bared, his claws sharp, as he readied himself for the final strike, intent on ending the alpha who dared to harm what was his.
"K-kookie..."
Jimin's heart pounded in his chest as he watched the scene unfold before him. Jungkook, his mate, stood over Sungwoon, a fierce and unforgiving look in his eyes. Sungwoon was barely conscious, lying helpless on the ground, but Jungkook showed no signs of stopping. The rage that consumed him was like nothing Jimin had ever seen.
"Jungkook, stop," Jimin called out, his voice trembling with urgency. But his words seemed to fall on deaf ears. Jungkook was focused solely on Sungwoon, the desire to protect his omega driving him to the edge of something dangerous—something dark.
He knew Jungkook was a good alpha, one who would go to any lengths to keep him safe. But he also knew that if Jungkook crossed this line, the guilt would haunt him forever, dragging him down a path from which there might be no return.
"Jungkook, please," Jimin whispered, but it wasn’t enough. Jungkook's fury was too intense, too consuming.
"Alpha!" Jimin’s voice rang out with authority, the word carrying the weight of their bond. It was the one thing that could break through the fog of rage clouding Jungkook’s mind.
Jungkook froze at the sound of Jimin's voice—his omega calling out to him, not in fear, but in love. The ferocity in his eyes began to fade as the reality of the situation seeped in. His hands, which had been poised to deliver a final, deadly blow, now trembled as he slowly lowered them.
"You’re a good alpha, Jungkook. You protect me, but this… this isn’t the way. If you do this, the guilt will follow you for the rest of your life. Please, don’t let this darkness take you."
Jungkook’s breath came in ragged gasps as the words sank in. His gaze shifted from Sungwoon’s battered form to Jimin, his beloved omega, who was still lying on the floor, pleading with him to stop. He could see the worry etched on Jimin’s face, the love in his eyes, and it broke through the last of his anger.
