"Marcus?" My voice was croaky, like I had been asleep for a while. I lifted my head to see I was in Marcus's room, with Marcus and his parents, awkward.

"You're awake" was all he said. Well of course I'd be awake, last thing I remember is absolutely nothing. Oh okay.

"Marcus, I can't remember anything, what's going on?" I just wanted answers, but then again I couldn't remember which questions I was going to ask. A sudden burning pain in my mouth quickly ceased all my thinking, what the hell is going on!

"Marcus you foolish boy! Her fangs are out and she doesn't even know, snap out if it!" He's mothered yelled at him. Well she spoke softly, but strangely I now have hearing 300X better then when I fell asleep, well probably not that much, but it's way better than before.

Wait, did she just say fangs? Only vampires have fan... No. Fucking. Way.

He bit me, yeah I was fine with Marcus being a vampire, and one day I'd want to be one, but I still have school, and university!!

"Hope?" How dare he talk to me!

"Get away from me!" I don't remember what happened, but I don't want him near me.

"Marcus she needs to drink now! She will be asleep within a few minutes and you know what will happen if she falls asleep with no blood." There is no way I'm drinking from him, that's blood! A hamburger will do me just fine thank you.

But I obviously didn't get a say in it, Marcus was drinking from my wrist within seconds, and a burning sensation arose in my throat. Maybe I was thirsty for something else?

'Of course you are idiot, you are a vampire' my subconscious informed me, like I didn't already know. Yeah whatever. Marcus pulled back after a few minutes and put his wrist up to my mouth, expecting me to bite.

"No." I said simply, there was no way I was doing it.

"Hope, drink it" a feeling washed over me and I gave into him, I wanted to fight it but there was no way I could fight it. At this moment I would do everything he said. I sunk my teeth into his wrist, drinking his blood greedily, taking his blood. I was surprised when I liked the taste if it, it was a taste I couldn't describe, but I could handle it for the rest of my life- which will be a long time so let's say existence. When I had had enough I pulled back my fangs retracted and I felt full, as well as in need of a good sleep.

"You are going to be tired soon, you will sleep for roughly 8 hours, and then when you awake we will talk about everything, and I will answer any question you have, but please just hear me out."

As much as I wanted to hate him with everything I had, I couldn't. I was too tired to even think, so I simply nodded. My last thought before I fell asleep was that I could be possibly falling for him. I remember when I said I love you to him, I didn't mean it, we have known each other for such a short amount of time, yet I felt the need to say it, why?

*Marcus's POV*

She hates me. This wasn't supposed to happen, she was scared and really pissed that I changed her. I understand where she's coming from, but now that she is a vampire, I am her King so she will not disrespect me.

"She didn't take it too well, at least she ate I guess" Mum mumbled to no one in particular.

"She will respect me! I am her King!" I roared, my voice loud and clear, I used my "King voice" I don't actually know what to call it, werewolf's get the 'Alpha Tone' and when I used mine, it had the same effect, everyone bowed their head. Vampire or not, they were still forced to show respect, although humans could fight it, vampires had no chance.
