"Bakugo, wait up!" Kirishima called out after him, as he ran down the corridor.

Bakugo was walking down the hallway, having already changed and gotten his things.

"What is it!" He yelled, not even looking back at the boy.

Kirishima finally caught up with the blond, slightly out of breath.

"Nothing man." The red head said, walking faster to match Bakugo's pace. "Don't you wanna walk back together. It's our first day back, we've got some catching up to do!" He had a grin on his face the whole time.

Bakugo went back to looking forwards after throwing a quick glance at the boy. He wasn't sure what shitty hair was so happy about.

"Sure, whatever." He said, not really caring. He just wanted to get back to his dorm. He'd never admit it, but some part of him also didn't hate Shitty hairs company either.

"It's been a while, huh?" Kirishima said, reminiscing. "We didn't really get the chance to see everyone during the vacation, so it's kinda nice to be back."

They both made their way out of the main door to building. "So what did you get up too?" He asked.

"Training." Bakugo answered blatantly.

"Of course, ", Kirishima said, balling his fists in admiration, "so manly!"

Bakugo still didn't know why Kirishima used that word so much. What's it even supposed to mean?

He didn't think it was the right way to describe his summer. His parents had gone on vacation, while he'd stayed at home. They had told him to go with them, but he'd insisted.. He knew that Deku would be working on his quirk the whole summer long. No way was he going to fall behind, let alone let Deku catch up with him.

"Sure." He said, not knowing how to respond.

"I trained too, but not as much as I probably should have." Kirishima added, embarrassed.

"I'm sure you trained plenty."

"Thanks, man." Kirishima said, perking up at the blonds response.

Bakugo could tell everyone in his class had trained over the summer. He had watched everyone go through the course without missing a thing.

After it all, he couldn't help but feel a pit in his stomach after seeing Deku's score. At this point Bakugo couldn't deny that Deku was strong, but he thought that he had more distance between himself and the nerd.

But, for once, Deku wasn't what made him mad.

He was content knowing everyone in his class like the back of his hand. Their strengths, weaknesses, fighting styles, everything.

But you had to mess up his rhythm.

When he saw your score on their teacher's tablet, his blood boiled. Mr. Aizawa had told the class part of your background. How you had never been to a proper hero school, and that seeing so many quirks would be new to you, so we had to take it easy on you.

He hadn't thought much of it. He'd passed you off as nothing to worry about.

He now knew it was his fault. The school obviously wouldn't just accept anyone, especially during their second year.

It pissed him off, knowing that you had had less than no training compared to him and you still got in. You still got a score higher than him and he couldn't comprehend how.

He had watched you go through the course more closely than the others. Shinso was new, but Bakugo had seen him fight before. You, on the other hand, he had to get a read on.
