They arrived at their destination and their parents immediately got off the car.

Melina opened the door for them and Alexei loaded the gun in his hand. "Come on, Kat and Lenka. Hurry up baby"

Natasha scooted her way to take the photo strip on the visor of the car. Kat and Yelena hopped off on the car. 

"Let's go. Come on, Nat. Hurry up. We gotta go" said Melina in a hurry.

Alexei removed the big dirty curtain revealing a small blue and white jet, Melina grabbed Kat and Yelena's wrist as they ran towards the jet. 

Kat's eyes widened. "Woah. we're using a plane" said Kat with such excitement in her voice. Yelena giggled in excitement.

They approached the plane hurriedly while Melina kept complaining about how slow they are.

Kat panted as she helped Yelena dragged the tailhook of the plane. "Where are we going again?" Kat asked.

Natasha slowly walked towards them while staring at the photo strip of them.

Alexei approached Natasha and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Come on. Honey, honey - Go with your mom. Go with your mom" 

"Nat, hurry up!"

"I'm coming!" Nat ran towards the plane.

They sat in the back seat of the plane. Natasha had a nervous look planted on her face and Kat tilted her head at her, she sat between Natasha and Yelena.

"Okay. seatbelts" said Melina, closing the plane's door.

Yelena glanced at Kat. "Do you wanna play ponies while we're flying?" Lena smiled. Kat returned a warm smile and nodded.

Then Kat scrunched her face in confusion when she saw Alexei still outside with a gun in his hand, fierce and alert.

"Why isn't daddy in the plane?" Natasha asked in concern.

Kat and Lena looked up at Nat quickly and looked back at Alexei. "Daddy! why are you still there?" Kat yelled.

"He's coming, Baby. He's coming" Melina panted, starting the plane.

Alexei grunted after he removed the car in front of the jet using his super-soldier strength. 

They turned their head in the direction where they heard the sirens approaching them then Alexei signal Melina to move the jet.

Suddenly, Kat doesn't feel excited anymore she felt something bad is going to happen.

The plane is starting to move and Alexei shot the first car and the car crashed into something, Alexei runs towards the moving jet as he heard more cars.

The engine was revving while Melina focused on driving the jet. The girls are watching their father running towards them, Alexei shot the two cars driving towards them. The other car tried to make a shortcut to move in front of the moving jet. The people in the car tried to shot Alexei that is still outside running.

"Mom?!" Natasha felt genuine fear trickle through her.

Kat's heart is beating quickly and she squeezed Yelena's hand as she watched her father ran towards them. "Mommy?" Kat asked in concern.

Alexei jumped in the right wing of the jet and he laid on it while he fired the cars that are chasing after them.

There are about five cars chasing and shooting them, one of them almost shot Natasha but she avoided it. Another bullet struck and hit Melina on the shoulder, making the jet lose its balance.

Melina's blood splashed on Kat and Lena's face. Fear clutched Kat's throat, she was so close to crying.

"Mom!" Natasha yelled while Melina groaned in pain. Alexei tried to shot the wheels of the cars.

Melina turned her head and glanced at Natasha. "I need you up here"

Nat sat next to her mother hurriedly, She knew in a situation like this fear and panic were their worse enemies.

"Okay," they both said in unison.

Despite Kat's fear, she wrapped her arms around Yelena to comfort her. They both breathed heavily with tears streaming down their face in terror.

"I need you to pull right," Melina panted, putting pressure on her bleeding wound. Natasha pulled the control wheel to the right and the plane gained its balance again.

"Mom, you've got blood on you" Natasha's voice was tremulous.

"It's okay, baby" Melina gasped.

Kat and Lena watched in fear as they turned their head which they saw their father kicking the face of the driver that's chasing them. She noticed the sign on the cars, it has an eagle on it and it was written S.H.I.E.L.D.

"It's okay. we'll be okay" Kat hugged her little sister and she wiped the blood on her face.

Melina spoke despite she had a bleeding wound "Hit the accelerator there," Nat did what she was told. 

The car turned in their direction and started firing them with no mercy while they screamed in fear as they were almost got shot.

"Hold it steady, hold it steady" Melina yelled.

"You're gonna pull back at 55 knots," Melina breathed heavily, Nat is avoiding the bullets while keeping the plane steady, tears escaped her eyes.

"Let's count together," They counted together, focusing on escaping instead of panicking over the loud gunshots. 

A sinking feeling of panic swept over them and Kat covered her ear while Yelena did the same, Kat closed her eyes and tried to ignore her fear by thinking all of her good memories in Ohio, right now she wanted to go there - to get away from this fear.

"Pull back – you can do it!" Melina yelled.

"Pull back – all your strength" Nat frowned while she pulled the wheel with all her strength and the plane started to fly up in the dark sky.

She breathed heavily while tears running down her cheeks. The two in the back and Natasha looked over outside the window and saw their father laying on the wing, he looked at Natasha proudly.
