Mix looked at the reflection of himself in the mirror. Taking one last lingering look at himself – the single man – before he gets himself hitched to his baby daddy.

Mix audibly gulped as he contemplated the potential future question of 'How Did You Meet My Father.' From the night club, finding out he was pregnant, to the interview. He continued to space out, reminiscing in the immaculate white double-breasted jacket tailored suit he wore. casually caressing his bump.

Well baby, are you ready for papa to get married to dada?

"Ack!!"

His daydreaming ending abruptly; failing to notice his two best friends sneak up behind him.

"Is there a reason why you look extremely self-satisfied right now?"

"What are you talking about? ... I don't." Mix's eyes downcast, busying himself with removing imaginary lint off his lapel.

"Yeah right. Someone can't wait to get married and become a Pirapat." Mocked White.

"It's not like that!" Exclaimed Mix

"Mmmhm, sure and you're still a virgin." White teased.

"White!" Tsked Khaotung. Slapping White's shoulder.

"What?" White shrugged.

Khaotung rolled his eyes and looked at the reflection of his friend, brushing stray strands of hair out the way, fixing them into place.

"How are you?"

"Fine." Mix answered. Not willing to admit he'd gotten the shakes thirty minutes back.

"You're getting married today." He said with a smile.

"I know." He released a breath.

"I know this isn't one of the things I'm supposed to be thinking of my wedding day. But ...do you think he actually wants us?" Mix reluctantly queried.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, do you think he really wants me – and our baby - because he likes me. Or is he marrying me purely out of obligation.?"

Mix hated the words as they left his mouth, but he had to get it off his chest.

"Honestly, why can't it be both? Yes, it may be the traditional 'right' thing to do. but that doesn't mean he doesn't care or want you for you. For you both."

"Let me tell you a little something, I've seen the man waiting to become your husband and I know the image he has, so I'll tell you this. That is not a man standing at the altar waiting to be made a husband out of pure obligation. That out there is a man whose nervously waiting for the person who is to become his other half, his better half." Encouraged Khaotung.

Mix's mouth curved upwards looking back at the long-time friend in the mirror. Mouthing a silent thank you.

There was a knock at the door.
