3 - Sleeper Sharks

Nobody's POV:

"YO BIG MAN!" A voice boomed from the top of the hill, Tubbo turned around seeing Tommy waving at him from the top of the hill that lead down to the beach where the group was at "BOSS MAN!" Tubbo waved at him excitedly jumping up and down "What're you doing here Boss Man?!" Tommy reached into the trunk of his dads car lifting his body board above his head "Big day tomorrow gotta practice!" The front door of the truck opened up, Phil got out of the car waving down to us "Good morning Mavericks! Mind if we join you?"

Jordan laughed waving back to them "Not at all come on down!" A white truck pulled up in the parking space next to Phil's, Techno got out of the driver seat, he looked down to the beach seeing the group "Yooo, Mavericks!" Techno waved down to us, the passenger door flung open Wilbur jumping out of the car waving at the boys as he jumped into the trunk of the car handing his board to Phil "Mind taking that down for me? I'm gonna help Techno out." Phil nodded tucking the board under his arm "Sure man, meet you down there."

Tommy jogged down the hill with his body board to the group "Sapnap, I'm gonna kick your ass tomorrow!" Nick laughed walking over to Tommy patting his shoulder "You may be on my level not but you've got a bit before you're in my skill range."

"Shut up bitch." Tommy crossed his arms looking down at Nick "I'm taller than you." Nick shrugged patting Tommy's shoulder "And I'm a lot stronger." Tommy opened his mouth to say something closing it quickly "Fair point."
Wilbur and Techno finally made it down to the beach with the wind surfing board and sail "Zak, check out my sail, this'll be the one to help me win tomorrow." Zak looked at the board and let out a laugh "Is that a pig in a crown?" Techno smiled nodding "Yes it is, it'll distract everyone. I saw it at a shop last week, I had to have it." The ravenette laughed taking the end Wilbur was holding up "Lets go and test it out then, I wanna see this thing in action." The two ran at the water to set up Technos sail to his board.

Wilbur took his board from Phil giving him a smile "Thanks for bringing this down for me." Phil smiled at him patting his back "No need to thank me Will. Just win tomorrow to make it up to me." He laughed turning back to the others, Clay smiled "Oh its like that?" The older blond laughed nodding "Oh its like that, so if you don't want Will forever in my debt let him win." Phil said in a joking tone, he'd never want Clay let alone any competitor to throw a competition "No no no don't do that!" Jordan and Will said at the same time to Clay, the look at eachother confused as to what just happen, after a few seconds of silence they started laughing

"Well enough chit chat in the water all of you!" Jordan blew his whistle sending his boys to the water, Phil turned to Wilbur and Tommy "That goes for you both as well." The two boys gripped their boards as they jogged to the water jumping in "Holy shit its cold!" Tommy stood up shaking his hair looking back to the beach, Tubbo ran forward a little shouting to Tommy "Go boss man!" Tommy smiled turning back to the water paddling once again

Few Hours Later

"Daaaad Phiiiil!" The two fathers look over at Tubbo who was on his knees bowing to them "Can Tommy and I please go to the tide pools?" He sits up so he was looking at them "He's been training for hours already." Jordan looked to Phil "Its up to you, I'm fine with it." Phil nodded waving the two off "Yeah go ahead, be careful on the rocks."

Tubbo POV:

"Thank you!" I stood up brushing the sand off my legs, I headed towards the tide pools waving Tommy to follow me, Tommy tossed his board by our dads running over to me "I'll assume they said yes?" The blond looked down at me as I nodded "Yup, now $20 to whoever can find a starfish first!" I ran away from him jumping onto the rocks "What?! Tubbo no fair!" I laugh jumping from rock to rock looking for a starfish, jumping from rock to rock finding nothing, I look over at Tommy he was looking in a pool I already checked "How about we change it up to, anything that isn't a crab or a snail?" I ask

He nodded keeping his eyes on the ground as he stepped from rock to rock "Yeah sounds good." I walked around for a few minutes still not being able to find anything, I walk up the rocks a bit more when I saw something moving at the corner of my eye. I moved over to it and there was a little pool with a black and white clown fish swimming around in it "Tommy! I found a clown fish!" Tommy's head popped up from behind a rock "You did not!" He ran over to me looking at the little guy "Its covered in white spots." I frowned when I noticed the spots "It must've caught a parasite, I wanna help it." Tommy raised an eyebrow looking at me "You're gonna heal a fish? How are you gonna help it?" I grabbed my yellow and black water bottle going down to one of the deeper tide pools filling it up with salt water "I've done it before, I've got a big enough tank for it to swim around. I just don't want the little guy to die." I placed the bottle into the pool with the fish "Come on little guy go on in." As if the fish could hear me it swam into the water bottle "I'm gonna call him Nemo."

I lifted the bottle up making sure the fish was okay inside, I didn't put the lid back on so the air could circulate, Tommy snorted as he started laughing "You're gonna name it Nemo? That's one of the most basic names for a fish." I shrugged looking at the fish "Tommy! Tubbo! We're gonna head out lets go!" Our dads yelled at us, we both stand up yelling back "Coming!" We started to made our way back towards the others "Says the one who now owes me $20." I blew him a raspberry "And fine, how about Ender?" Tommy looked down at me slightly confused "Ender? Like an Enderman?" I nodded smiling "Yeah! He's black isn't he, and its not basic like Nemo." The blond took the bottle from me looking in to see the fish "He does look like an Ender, I like it." We walked over to Tommys body board so he could grab it before we headed to the trucks, once he grabbed his board we made our way up the hill making it to the cars "I'll see you tomorrow Boss Man." I thumped my head against his chest since I wasn't able to hug him while I was holding the clownfish

Tommy hugged me patting my back, he pulled away flicking my forehead "See ya!" He jogged to Phil's truck jumping in he waved at me as they drove off. I hopped in the car looking down into the bottle at my new little friend, my dad got into the car starting it up, I felt his eyes looking at me "Whatcha got there bud?" I held the bottle out to him "A clownfish, its sick so I wanna help it." Dad smiled at me reaching over ruffling my hair "Toby, you're a good kid I hope you know that." He put his hands on the wheel and started to drive forward "Well lets go get that little guy some stuff."
