"Mr and Mrs. Reynolds, I am Aziki Rodden, Alpha of the True-Clan Pack." Aziki said. She stretched out her hands but mom pulled her in for a hug instead.
Maybe it was just me, but I saw my mate visibly relax in my mother's arms and that sight melted my heart.
"Nice to meet you Ms. Rodden. Honestly, when I heard of a female Alpha I was taken aback, but I'm even more so because you're the alpha of the True-Clan pack. That is an amazing accomplishment." my father said. He sounded so intrigued. Almost as if he was a fan of Aziki.
"Thank you sir." Aziki said. "I heard that you are willing to assist me with pack affairs, and I have to say, thank you very much."
"Not a problem. Any friend of Adranus, is a friend of ours." dad said. Aziki looked at me as if she were saying 'who's that?' with her eyes.
I never held her gaze because I was having flashbacks of when she met him and I began feeling guilty because I wiped her memory.
"So, do you wish to get settled in?" my dad asked, oblivious to our interaction.
"Hold on dear, she hasn't met the boys! Lakeland! Arthur!" mom shouted. "Come meet the Alpha of the True-Clan pack."
The boys appeared in a second and I could see the surprise in Aziki's face.
"An Alpha, as in a wolf?" Lakeland said. "Where is he?"
Both the boys started looking around before dad slapped them both on the back of their heads.
"Right infront of you." he said. Lakeland laughed.
"Her?" he asked signalling to my mate while laughing. Careful brother, I don't play about what's mine.
"Yes 'her', I'm the Alpha of the True-Clan pack." she said staring right into his face. That's my baby.
Lakeland looked seriously taken aback.
"You're s-serious?" he asked.
"Yes." she said.
"Oh, my apologies. It's nice to meet you." he said coming to his senses.
"Can't say the same for you." she said. Infront of mom, dad and Arthur. I hid a laugh and I could see that was the same for the them too.
"Hi, I'm Arthur Reynolds, and it's nice to meet you." Arthur introduced himself. He stretched out her hand and they shook hands. She even gave him a smile, wow...
"Nice to meet you Arthur." she said.
This was a sight to see. Couple months earlier, I'm not sure this would be the reaction of Aziki. Heck, I doubt she would've even come here!
"Away with the pleasantries, let's get Ms. Rodden settled." I interjected.
Everyone nodded and dismissed themselves while I led Aziki to where she will be staying.
