Thor didn't fully understand the entirety of what Loki had told him, but he understood the gist of it. He understood that the Loki in front of him was from a branched timeline. In all honesty, he didn't care about the details, all he cared about was that he had his sibling back.

"So, this Ravonna woman wants revenge and is willing to harm your children to get it?" Thor asked Loki.

"Yes." Loki nodded holding Astrid closer.

"Have no fear, dear sibling, no harm will come to you or your family while in my home, I'll make sure of it. And I will seek the aid of Doctor Strange, he'll help find Ravonna before she can find you and we will defeat her together." Thor assured them.

"Rest for now, gather your bearings, and tomorrow we'll figure all of this out." he added.

"Poppy, I'm hungry." Astrid mumbled.

"Thor, I hate to impose, but we had to leave so suddenly that we never had a chance to eat dinner." Loki said shyly.

"Nonsense! It would be no imposition at all. Besides, I'd hate for my nieces and nephew to go hungry." Thor insisted.

He scurries into the kitchen and looks into the fridge, searching for something to feed to the small family of five.

"Do your kids like beef stew?" Thor called out from the kitchen.

"Yeah, that's fine." Mobius replied.

Thor reheats some beef stew that he made yesterday and gives it to Loki, Mobius, and the children. Eydis and Astrid ate it right up, but Benny mainly picked at his food barely eating it.

"Is he alright?" Thor asked, noticing the boy's miserable expression.

"He's ill with an ear infection and a cold and has been feeling terrible all day." Loki sighed.

"Mobius, love, did you happen to pack the medicine?" they asked.

"*gasp* Oh no, I completely forgot to buy the eardrops and I forgot to pack the cold/flu medicine." Mobius groaned, covering his face with his hand.

"I just got so distracted worrying about you guys." he sighed, running a hand through his hair.

"Don't be so hard on yourself, Mobius, I forgot too." Loki assured their husband.

"Would you like me to go fetch a healer?" Thor asked, frowning in sympathy for the sick child.

"I would really appreciate that, thank you, Thor." Loki said as Mobius pulled Benny onto his lap.

Mobius presses his lips to Benny's forehead to check this temperature.

"Loki, he's burning up." Mobius said guiding Benny's head to rest on his shoulder.

"I'll be back in a moment. Have him rest on either the couch or in the bed in the spare room." Thor told Mobius, who nodded in response.

When Thor left, Mobius carries his son over to the couch, laying him down, then tucking a blanket around him.

"I got him, you go into the spare room and get the girls ready for bed." Mobius said sitting on the edge of the couch.

"Come on, girls, let's get you into your pajamas." Loki said grabbing everyone's bags and taking their daughters to the spare room.

Mobius turns his attention back to his son, rubbing his chest as the boy lets out a string of harsh coughs.

"Daddy...*cough* *cough*....can you get me some water, please." Benny mumbled.

"Sure, buddy." Mobius nodded.

He kisses Benny's forehead then goes into the kitchen and gets him a glass of water.

"I have returned with a healer!" Thor announced walking into the house.

"Shhh! Thor, I just put the girls to bed." Loki whispered harshly to their brother.

"Sorry." Thor chuckled, lowering the volume of his voice.

As the healer examined Benny, Loki stood off to the side to give her some space to work. Mobius remains at Benny's side to comfort the ten-year-old. Loki stands, chewing on his thumbnail and nervously tapping his foot.

"You alright, Loki?" Thor said coming up behind them and placing his hand on their shoulder.

"Ah, yes, I'm fine." Loki replied, slightly startled.

"It's just...I hate seeing my babies miserable" they sighed.

They turn their head, catching sight of their brother's warm smile.

"What's with that dumb smile?" Loki asked.

"I'm proud of you, that's all. You've become the person I've always known you could be. I'm....I'm sorry I couldn't help you become that person. I failed you." Thor said, his smile fading into a frown.

"You didn't fail me." Loki protested.

"Yes I did, I gave up on you on Sakaar. And...I've never exactly been the brother you deserved." Thor argued.

"Well, I haven't been the best sibling either. I shouldn't have blamed you for my issues. It wasn't your fault that father favored you. And I should've realized that with that favoritism came a tremendous amount of pressure." Loki said, fully facing their brother.

"I've missed you so much, Loki, please give me a chance to be a better brother." Thor pleaded.

"Only if you give me the chance to be a better sibling." Loki said with a soft smile.

Thor responds by nearly crushing Loki's spine in a tight hug. And Loki said not a single word when they felt a few tears on their shoulder.

"Excuse me, um...Loki." the healer said.

"Yes, ma'am?" Loki said, pulling away from Thor's embrace.

"I've given your son an herbal tea for his cough and fever, and I've made a salve for the infection in his ear. It is to be applied twice a day to the outer edge of the ear canal. In a few days, he'll be back to being a healthy young boy." the healer told both Loki and Mobius.

"Thank you." Mobius said shaking the healer's hand.

"Yes, thank you, very much." Loki agreed, standing next to their husband.

"It was no problem at all." the healer replied.

The healer leaves then Mobius and Loki agree that Benny should stay on the couch for the night so he won't get his sisters sick. Mobius decides to keep an eye on Benny and sleep on the floor next to the couch; and Loki will sleep in the bed with the girls.

"Here's a pillow and a blanket." Thor said handing the items to Mobius.

"Thanks." Mobius said getting settled on the floor.

"Goodnight, my dear baby boy." Loki said kissing Benny's head.

"G'night, Poppy." Benny mumbled sleepily.

"Goodnight, love." Loki said kissing Mobius on the lips.

"Night, kitten." Mobius replied before laying his head down on the pillow.

"So....kitten?" Thor chuckled as he and Loki left the living room.

"Oh, shut up." Loki blushed, reaching for the doorknob of the spare room.

"Goodnight, Loki." Thor said sincerely.

"Goodnight, Thor." Loki said patting their brother's broad chest.

Closing the door behind them, Loki walks over to the bed where their sleeping daughters laid. Seeing Eydis hold her little sister protectively in her arms brought warmth to the god's heart, bringing to mind memories of them and Thor when the both of them were around that age and would occasionally share a bed. They use their magic to change into more comfortable clothing and crawled into bed, pulling their daughters close to their chest, kissing their heads before letting sleep claim them.
