I can't believe this is happening.
2 years of ignoring and avoiding each other and here I am.

Sitting with Zeke Casper.

After school.

Like nothing happened.

I looked down at my shoes and hugged my knees tighter to my chest. Me and Zeke were sitting at the curb right outside the gas station. I was waiting for him, he went to get a drink. When he finally came back, he sat down, not as close as he would have 2 years ago, right next to me. (on my left because I use to tell him I don't like how the left side of my face looks like, he said it was fine)

"So..."

"What?" I said, still looking down.

Awkward.

"I heard you got into the Straits Academy? I know you... You'll do great there. I promise."

Finally I looked up, his dark hair sitting messily on the top of his head. Dark eyes looking at me... like I'm suppose to forgive him or something like that.
I shrugged. I wasn't sure what else to say. Tell me? What do you say to someone who walked out of your life? Cause a fuck you seems like a pretty good answer.

"You still act oblivious to everything Kiara?" He scoffed.

That's it.

"OKAY! First of all, you were the one that came to me and said in a big dumb voice Lets get a drink haRhaR. What do you expect from me Zeke? Pick up from where we left off? I CANT REMEMBER WHERE WE LEFT OFF! YOU WALKED OUT REMEMBER? You left me even though you said you wouldn't, you big
fuc—"

"OKAY OKAY" His hand covered my mouth before I could tell him what a big nob sucker he is.

"anddyyouudoittoo" I muffled

"What?" He moved his stupid hand away.
"You do it too. Act oblivious? to whatever's happening infront of you?" I pointed out. I looked away from his eyes.

The bastard smiled. " Yea, Yea I do. We've always been alike robin." I rolled my eyes. Robin was his stupid name for me.

"Great minds.." I said.
"You and me." He finished.
That was always our thing.

We could be in a group of people talking, and I'd reply something to be nice and he would make eye contact with me. Knowing exactly what my real reply would have been.

I wouldn't have to say anything and he knows what my feeling. I could be in a one of a kind situation and he'd understand.

Because Zeke was my other half. Nobody in the world would have gotten me like him.

"Zeke I—"

The gap between us closed and his lips were on mine. He placed his hand softly on my cheek.

I pushed him off.

"DUDE!"

"Fuck. Kiara I'm sorry. I I I gotta go." He grabbed his bag and just fucked off. The guy starting running away from me.

What the fuck?
