"Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you."
Deuteronomy 31:6 (ESV)
--------‐---
You may be going through something tough right now and I don't know what that is but I can tell you God hasn't left you and he never will!.-------------
"So do not fear, for I am with you: do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you: I will uphold you with my righteous right hand"Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
------------------
As I mentioned above God will never leave you, In Isaiah 41:10 it tells us to not be afraid and God will give us the strength we need. Trust his word in this, Whatever you may be going through, TRUST in the LORD. One of the questions I get asked most is: "If God is a loving God, Is for us and cares for us then why do we go through hard times?"
Let me tell you this: He definitely cares for all of us, There is three answers (Maybe more) in my opinion to why I think God allows hard times. Feel free to comment down below your thoughts and or your opinions on this. The first reason being the Major reason why: And that's because he wants us to see what sin we have done so we could correct it and repent. To add onto this: Most people ask me "I have repented but I still struggle with the same sin, Am I not saved?" .
Well... Yes, You are saved through the holy blood of Jesus once you repent, acknowledge and confess he is the Lord and savior. Went on the cross and rose again 3 days after.
Just because we are saved doesn't mean we stop sinning automatically. You see, We all sin but we tend to sin less once we put our faith into Christ. If you are struggling with a repetitive sin, Ask God to help you.
-------------------
In no ways am I perfect or an expert but.... the second reason why I think God puts us through trials is because he tests our faith. It might sound scary- but it really isn't, God puts our faith to tests so our faith could grow. "Huh, What do you mean faith could grow, I'm confused?" well.. Basically I mean build our faith to be stronger, Either you have just put your faith in Christ, Don't have faith at all, Or lastly, You think you have the right amount of faith, We all get put through faith tests. God will never put us through anything we can't handle though. If your facing something tough... Pray, Prayer is key, Ask God to help you with whatever your struggling with and he will help as he hears ALL prayers.
---------
The last reason why I think God puts us through trials is because he wants us to see we can't make it alone. We NEED God in our life without him, We struggle.
Psalm 103: 13-14 "The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. For he knows that we are weak and remembers we are just dust."
----------
Here's a couple of prayers if your struggling with a repetitive sin and or Just putting your faith in Jesus.
Putting faith in Jesus: "Heavenly Father, I repent of my sins, I am a sinner and have come short of your glory. Jesus I believe you are son of God, the one and only Lord and Savior. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, He sent his one and only son so that whoever believes shall not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus I believe you went up on the cross for my sake and rose again three days after. Today, I put my faith into you Jesus. Have mercy upon me oh Lord and Forgive me of my sins (Say what sins you've done). Jesus, I ask you to be the Lord of my life. I'm sorry Lord and I repent of my sins, I believe I am now saved, AMEN.
---------
Prayer for a repetitive sin: "God almighty, I know you love sinners but hate sin, I'm struggling with a repetitive sin (Say what it is) I thank you for the power of your forgiveness and I forgive others, Dear LORD, I ask for you to guide me as I try to turn away from this repetitive sin. I repent in Jesus name, Amen."

1 John 1:19 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness"
