This is my first fan fiction everyone. I have watched the untamed and also read the novel and I absolutely don't like how everyone keeps blaming Wei Wuxian. Even Wei Wuxian keeps on blaming himself for things he couldn't control.
Like seriously I absolutely don't get the point why Lan Xichen blames Wei Wuxian for the sufferings of his dear little baby brother for all those 13 years(i don't hate Lan Wangji but just because he has a caring brother who takes his side doesn't mean Wei Wuxian is at fault for those 13 years) and tries to cover up his own shortcomings . Well it wasn't as if Wei Wuxian himself invited all the sects to plan a siege to the burial mounds. He was murdered for power by them and if not for the forced summon he would have remained dead for good. Yet he gets blamed for being dead for 13 years, makes no sense to me.Also regarding the ship although I do like Lan Wangji but I don't think he is the perfect match for Wei Wuxian. First he himself ignores and makes him feel like he hates him but also at the same expect him to see his love. And why does he wait till the situation gets to point where nothing can be done ,where Wei Wuxian himself has lost the will to live, where he believes everyone whom he loves and the only people who love him back are all dead and he is a useless piece of shit. A demon. And continues to feel unworthy till his death and even after. And I believe Lan Wangji probably still places his sect and brother before Wei Wuxian. If he ever has to choose he would most probably choose his brother and sect. So I would like to pair him with someone who tells him his self worth and always stands by his side.
This fan fiction starts from Guanyin temple incidence where Lan Xichen is lecturing Wei Wuxian.
So I do hope you all find my opinion interesting and enjoy this fan fiction❤❤❤❤❤.
