A day before the conference

Nie Huaisang confronted Jiang Cheng and told him everything about his plans including the resurrection of Wei Wuxian.

Nie Huaisang, "I thought this way Wei-xiong would be able to clear his name and after that live his life free of guilt but I never thought things would turn out this way. I..... I..so... somehow forced him to go through sufferings and betrayal once again". He cried.

Jiang Cheng was very angry but he also couldn't lash out at him as he also wanted his brother's name to get cleared. In the end he asked, "What do you plan to do now? "

Nie Huaisang, " I will redeem myself and help you bring justice to Wei-xiong. I will help you in the conference just as Wei-xiong wanted me to".

Lan Xichen has been awake for three days now but he didn't want to confront anyone. He stayed in his Hanshi still grieving Jin Guangyao's death and his mistakes. He was informed of what happened after he passed out by his uncle and couldn't bring himself to face his brother and tell him the truth.

Today an emergency conference was to held by Sect leader Jiang in lotus pier due the recent events.

Lan Qiren, Lan Xichen, Lan Wangji, Lan elders and some disciples left for lotus pier.

Jiang Cheng was standing at the dock waiting and greeting all the sects. But when he saw Lan clan he glared at them but composed himself and greeted them though coldly.

When he saw Lan Wangji looking as stoic as ever ,no remorse on his face, zidian cracked but forced himself to calm down.

Jin Ling and Ouyang Zizhen were also standing at the gate. Lan Sizhui smiled at them and approached them with Jingyi following behind him.

Jin Ling and Ouyang Zizhen didn't respond ,just glared at both of them. Jingyi wanted to put his hand on Jin Ling's shoulder but got his hand slapped away harshly.

Jin Ling, " Don't touch me ".

Lan Jingyi, " Don't you think you're quite short tempered young mistress ".

Jin Ling, " Atleast I am not a hypocrite like you. You both just stay away from me" shouted and walked away with Ouyang .

Jin Ling might not admit but he didn't more like he couldn't hate Wei Wuxian after knowing him personally. He had always been protecting them specially him.

Jin Ling has seen Wei Wuxian that night and could see from his hurt expression that he had been wronged. Hell! Anyone with eyes and brain could tell that.

When he saw the sad but genuine smile on his face he couldn't stop his tears that had escaped unknowingly. He looked so broken.

And still everyone dared to curse him and claim themselves to be righteous.

He felt so disgusted when the Great HanguangJun was being praised by everyone for killing Wei Wuxian. Hypocritical Bastards!!!

Unknown to everyone Wen Ning has been watching all the commotion from a distance.

He had been knocked out that night by a strange musical tune. When he woke up he went to search for his Master Wei but he heard rumors of how HanguangJun killed Wei Wuxian for trying to kill his brother.

Wen Ning wanted to cry for his Master Wei but he couldn't. So he came here to witness everything.

But when he heard Ayuan cursing Master Wei he was greatly disappointed.

He also saw how Jin Ling, Ouyang Zizhen, Jiang Wanyin and Nie Huaisang glared at the Lans and wanted to prove his Master Wei's innocence and he felt somewhat relieved.
