This is an original fanfic about two wasps that go to my school, I didn't change any names because all their first names are common and I don't like putting last names. With all of this being said, have fun :)
upd8: i edited some stuff like king's n...
The boys have been drifting apart recently and in an attempt to fix it, they decided to go on a park date. They know things are ending soon, but they can't bring themselves to admit it. Maybe if they don't acknowledge it then it can't affect them.
Although neither of the boys can recall exactly when they arrived at the park, Jamarian knows it was before the moon decided to make itself known. That's the reason they're here. He wants to fix things.
Jamarian and Charlie have been holding eye contact in silence for a few minutes now, not daring to break it because they are both scarily aware of the fact that it's the only thing keeping them together at this point.
Jamarian decides that now is as good a time as any to speak up and break the silence. It's not like he could make things any worse than they already are.
"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" He says, looking at Charlie expectantly. He still has hope. He will continue to have hope as long as he has Charlie.
He can't lose him.
Charlie knows what he should say. 'It always has been.' He can feel the words trying to force their way out of him and into the air between them. In an attempt to escape, they claw at his throat, causing a harsh burn that he can't seem to swallow away. Sadly, their attempts are proven futile when he lets his response fill the dreadful silence they have both grown to hate.
"Yeah, I guess." He looks up at the moon, tears beginning to well in his eyes, threatening to fall on the grass beneath him. Why couldn't he just say it? What was stopping him? He watches as Jamarian gets up from sitting on the ground, brushing the dirt off of his pants. He knows it's a sign that Jamarian is about to leave and although he doesn't want him to, he can't find it in himself to protest; so he chooses to wait instead.
"I see." Jamarian replies on a shaky exhale before turning around and walking away. He's trying to keep his composure, too afraid of letting the other boy see him in such a state.
He lost him. ———————————————— LOL!
