Coby is quiet. Everyone loves Coby. He's so kewl and kind. Respectful and unpredictable. Smart and funny.
Everyone was leaving class to go to lunch so Jamarian paused the video they were watching and they left. Coby walked behind the group while Jamarian and Charles walked ahead.
When everyone got into the cafeteria King, Aryaunnah, and Adianna left the group and stood in the sub line. Coby caught up with Charles and Jamarian and they got in a different line.
When everyone had their food they sat outside on the patio thingy mabobber. King, Aryaunnah, and Adianna sat at a table in the far corner by the window that nobody else sat at. Jamarian, Charles, and Coby sat at a table with some other kids.
Everyone was eating when King and Aryaunnah looked up and saw Jamarian and Charles being weird and harassing Coby (it's how they play ig but the others don't like it because everyone loves Coby).
King and Aryaunnah were talking but they couldn't stop looking at poor Coby. King and Aryaunnah started screaming at them and Adianna finally realized what was happening and started yelling too, sadly, the staff lady (Coby's mom :D) didn't realize.
The bell to leave lunch and go back to class finally rang and King and Aryaunnah had a few words to speak with Charles and Jamarian. "Why would you do that to poor Coby?!" King asked in a high pitched voice, almost as if they were talking to a puppy. "We were just playing." Charles said. "Yeah." Jamarian said, agreeing with Charles. "Why can't you do that to someone else?" Aryaunnah asked. King started talking to Coby and completely ignored the other conversation.
"Are you okay?" King asked Coby, jokingly. "Yeah." Coby said back, very quietly and emotionless. "Why do you let them do that to you? If you need me to beat em' up, I will." King said jokingly (but she would beat them up), raising her fist very awkwardly. "I don't know." Coby said, still quiet and emotionless. King said bye to Coby and left that conversation where it was. King caught up with Adianna and Aryaunnah to see they were still yelling at Jamarian and Charles.
A few minutes later everything died down and they went back to watching YouTube in class.
*~I tried to base this chapter around Coby, I don't know how well I did but I like it so heck off. Btw Coby is such a smol bean and I love him (I don't have a crush on him so don't come at me with that).~*
