Earlobe Eater

Charles got the nickname "Earlobe Muncher" from King. They don't call him it a lot, but it's there. In the Bread Crumbs (not Canned Bread, their different) groupchat on messenger) Charles nickname is "Earlobe Muncher". In person King just tells Charles he eats earlobes.

Ex: "Hey dad." Charles said to King. "Shut up, you eat earlobes." King replies going back to their conversation with the girls.

The bell rang for the class period to end and Jamarian turned off the computer and as everyone got up and grabbed their stuff to leave, Charles got tripped by Seth. Charles got embarrassed and turned red (Charles gets embarrassed a lot in my opinion, but it's over stuff that doesn't really matter). The group saw this and laughed, except Jamarian, he tried to comfort Charles while trying to make it look as straight as possible. "Hey, get up. We're gonna be late." Jamarian said as he squeezed Charles hand reassuringly while making sure nobody saw. King ended up seeing anyways because they're nosy and smiled at the sight, they hated Jamarian and disliked Charles but they shipped them so much and seeing them like this almost made them cry tears of joy. Charles turned even more red but got up and they all walked to fifth period.

Everyone was watching a movie in fifth period so the teacher let them sit where they please but she warned them to be quiet or she'd turn the movie off. Charles got up from his desk and sat at the one next to Jamarian's.

Although King sat at the other side of the room with Aryaunnah and Adianna, they still looked at Charles and Jamarian every now and then. King looked over at Aryaunnah as the movie was starting and took her hand, they held hands throughout the movie earning looks from some confused people and a few whispers and points, they didn't care. "Woah, what's happening here?" Someone asked. King and Aryaunnah turned their heads to see Seth sitting in a desk next to Dalton, Blair, and Zach. "We're married." King casually replied. Seth looked at them very confused "Is this real, like are you two... a thing?" Seth asked very awkwardly and confused. King lifted their hand that was holding Aryaunnah's. "This looks pretty real to me." King replied and started watching the movie again.

Jamarian and Charles were talking about how King and Aryaunnah were holding hands and how gay it was. They occasionally whispered to the two across the classroom and they responded causing the teacher to tell them to quiet down.

"That's gay." Charles mouthed towards the girls. King shook their head "Don't even go there." They mouthed back then smirked. Charles rolled his eyes "True." He mouthed while shrugging his shoulders. King didn't like the fact that he gave up that easily but they also did not care at all. King went back to watching the movie while the boys talked.

Poor Coby and Adianna are left out because they have no idea what's happening.

"I don't know how I feel about them knowing." Charles whispered to Jamarian. "Eh, it's fine. I don't want them to know either but it's not like we can take their knowledge." Jamarian whispered back. "True." Charles whispered, ending the conversation.

Charles started imagining what it would be like to be in an open relationship with Jamarian. He imagined them walking through the halls together, looking at each other laughing at each other jokes while holding hands. He imagined the other students smiling at how they were happy and open and how they were so confident. They saw past the weird, disgusting, immature jokes they made. They saw the human in each other. They loved each other and nothing would or ever could change that. He imagined them graduating. He imagined himself running to Jamarian excitingly after the ceremony, wrapping his arms around him tightly as they discussed how they would go to the same college together. He imagined them sharing a college dorm and going to classes together. He imagined their first kiss. He imagined Jamarian proposing to him. He imagined saying yes and wrapping their arms around each other. He imagined them getting married and looking into the group to see King, Ary, Coby, and Adianna. He imagined the 'I do's and the kiss. He imagined the tears of joy coming out of their friend's eyes. He imagined turning his head to see Coby and Adianna talking about how stupid everyone was back in school. He imagined his and Jamarians first fight, causing Jamarian to storm out, leaving Charles crying. He imagined Jamarian coming back into the room a few hours later and kissing him as he reassured he wasn't leaving and that he was sorry. He imagined them as they were old. He imagined himself at Jamarians funeral crying and holding back his screams. He imagined how hard it would be to live in a world without his lover.

Charles was snapped out of his thoughts with Jamarian slapping his arm. "What's wrong?" Jamarian asked worriedly while whispering. Charles noticed he had been crying and wiped his tears "Just thinking." Charles whispered back with a half smile, calming himself down. "If you need to tal-" Jamarian was saying. "I don't want to lose you." Charles whispered, cutting him off. Jamarian nodded, not completely understanding where this was coming from, but he didn't want to worry Charles anymore than he already was.

Everyone went through the rest of the day as they normally would and when they got home everyone got on Canned Bread, except Jamarian, because Jamarian is a nub that will never be in Canned Bread.

*~This chapter was obviously supposed to be focused on Charles but I got carried away with the part where King and Aryaunnah were holding hands, but that's fine because it was beautiful. I also didn't check for typos so if something doesn't make sense just comment about it.~*
