I growled, slowly pinning my ears back. The small Gray wolf bared her teeth at me, clearly challenging me. She wasn't submitting to me, or my Alpha Wolf, so I snarled even louder. 'Kayna, learn your place!' my wolf, Kaydon, growled through the mindlink. Kayna gave me a small growl, her silver fur standing on end. I lifted my head away from her muzzle, and held a black paw up, claws gleaming.

I watched Kanya's eyes go big, fear gleaming in them. 'You will obey me!' I snarled. She gave a low snarl and I sprang onto her, pinning her down. She whimpered loudly, rolling onto her back to show her vulnerable belly. a sign of submission.'Yes, Alpha,' she whimpered, her voice thick and heavy with terror.

Relaxing a little, I stood back, allowing her to get up. She slowly scrambled to her paws, her eyes watching me. 'What'd you scare her for?' Kaydon asked in my head. I sighed. 'I will not tolerate disrespect. Especially since since I'm the Alpha.' Kaydon laughed. 'You really need to find your mate,'He commented. I scoffed. 'I don't want one. Not anymore.' Kanya whimpered quickly before running away, her tail pinned between her legs.

I gave a quick shake of my head before I jogged back to the Pack House, tail held up high. The large building came into view after 5 minutes, and I looked at the contrast it had with the trees. It had a nice black roof, and all of the outside walls were painted a pretty shade of white. My whole pack lived around the building, but my Beta and Third-in-Command lived here too. with their families if they had any. At the moment, my Beta was Luke Storm, and my Third was James Peter.

I could smell the scent of Kayna, and I slowly debated on following it or not. I decided against it, and perked my ears as I sat down on the grass. 'I need clothes. Now,' I snapped through the mindlink. 'On my way,' my Beta answered quickly. 'Everybody obeys you,Hunter,' Kaydon murmered. 'Don't you think you should find your mate, so she could help you run the Pack?' I began to think of something to say, but Luke walked outside, carrying a pair of dark blue skinny jeans, and a black silk shirt.

As he came closer, I picked up the scent of Kayna clinging to his clothing. 'Why do you smell like Kayna?' I growled. Luke stared at me, his eyes lowered. My tail thumped against the branches and leaves in annoyance. 'Answer me.' I snarled loudly and I saw Luke wince.

'Hunter, just hear me out!' he pleaded, sounding upset. 'She didn't mean to disrespect you. She was upset earlier. Her wolf was angry and wanted to take it out on something. You just happened to be there.' I growled, and glared at him. 'What gives her the right to challenge me? I wouldn't be as angry with it if it was you or James, but from Kayna? She's a lesser rank than you, and the rest of the pack.'

Luke sighed, and lowered his head. 'Alright, Alpha. I'll accept it,' He muttered aloud as he set down the clothes by his black paws. I sent him a cold glare to his back as he headed back to the pack house. I grasped the pants between my teeth and slowly went behind a nearby oak tree to shift back.

My bones popped back into place quickly, and I stood upright. I quickly pulled the jeans up and, after buttoning them up, casually walked out of the treeline. I picked up my black shirt and pulled it over my shoulders. Nobody bothered to see what I did around here. I was their Alpha. Nobody questions what I do around here. Not anymore. There are just some things better left untold from my past.
