As I entered the Pack House, loud crashes echoed from the kitchen. "I'm so sorry!" I heard a woman's voice behind me, and I turned to see a young brunette looking at me sadly, her bright green eyes welling with tears. "It's ok, Mandy," I said, giving her a small smile. I was personally surprised that I was smiling. I rarely did anymore these days.

Mandy just kept on looking sad. "This is the third time this week," she whispered, her voice cracking. I went towards her quickly. "It was just a few dishes. Nothing to be really upset over." I placed a hand on her shoulder, but a loud growl made Kaydon tremble with rage.

A young man stepped into the room, his eyes set aflame with anger. "Stop touching my mate," he snapped, his eyes wandering over to where my hand was. He clenched his fists and I glared coldly at him. "I said to stop touching my mate," he growled again, his voice deeper.

Kaydon snarled in my head. "I am your Alpha. Don't disrespect me," I growled slowly. The man scoffed in return, making Kaydon thrash in anger inside my head. He desperately wanted me to shift. Mandy pulled away from my hand and went to her mate.

"Please,Jack, don't," she pleaded, her eyes begging. Jack snarled at me, silently daring me to shift. My heart went cold. It must have. "Mandy, Jack, I am sorry. I want you off my territory by tomorrow morning. I will not tolerate disrespect from any wolf."

Mandy sucked in her breath, before slowly turning to face me. "Please, Alpha, reconsider!" She pleaded. I angrily turned around. "No, Mandy," I snapped harshly. She began to sob, and Jack just stared at me. "You can't do that!" He stammered.

I whipped around again, snarling. "I'm the Alpha. Not you. What I say goes." Jack's eyes flashed dark shades of black, indicating he was about to shift. Kaydon chuckled in my head. ',Let him shift. I'll teach him a lesson of respect.'

I let myself shift and faced a scrawny brown wolf. Jack growled, his eyes filling with rage as he stood in front of Mandy. A sign of protection. 'He thinks we're gonna harm his mate,' Kaydon said. I bared my fangs at him, already annoyed that he was challenging my order.

He leapt towards me, his claws catching my ear. A sharp pain caught me off guard as I felt his claws digging downwards in my ear. Snarling, I twisted away from his claws, and buried my teeth in his right front leg. I tasted blood, and heard a cry from Mandy. I felt Jack freeze, and it gave me a chance to flip him over into his back.

I thrust my muzzle into his face, snarling loudly. His wolf whimpered, but I refused to accept his submitting so easily. 'You will NOT challenge me again!' I growled, digging my claws deeper into his fur. Jack winced. 'Okay, Alpha!' He begged, whimpering loudly. 'I want you gone. Now. Go and pack your things,' I snapped. 'If I see you on my territory after sunset, my wolves will kill you.'
