Then Let's Show Them

(Mari's POV😝)

     The picnic with sunny turned out wonderful, as usual! It's been about 5 days since Sunny came back to me, and in those few days, Sunny and I have done about 15 picnics! Although I enjoy Sunny's company, we both haven't been able to see how the others are doing. I'm sure they took Sunny's death... hard. And we haven't even checked on them--- I'm such a horrible friend, I'm awful. I left them, the least I can do is watch over them.

"Sunny! Do you wanna know a secret?!" I tried to sound optimistic, I didn't want Sunny knowing I forgot to check up on our friends. "... Sure." He's excited I can tell...my little bro is too cute! "Come with me then!" And with that, Sunny and I went through a hidden path near the flower garden.

We walked for a while, passing by snow-white bunnies, tiny frogs, and clouds! "Aren't the little animals so cute Sunny?" I asked, trying to pass the time. "Yeah." He responded, picking up a black little bunny. The creature looked like it belonged to a group of white bunnies, though it seemed as if it was the odd one out from the looks of it. After Sunny put down the bunny, the other white ones flocked to it, welcoming it in. I guess when you're a rabbit or any kind of animal, being different didn't seem to matter...

 We arrived at the center of the quaint little forest. [ AREA: THE POND ] I walked into the vast opening of the forest and turned around to see if Sunny was following--- he wasn't. "Sunny?" This was the first time in a while I heard my voice while walking here. The crisp aroma of the tree leaves tingles my nose, the smell giving off a welcoming feeling. A bird chirps an oddly familiar tune, flying off to a nest. Its melody sounds like a song I've heard in my dreams before, but I can't seem to remember the words... I turned around to see Sunny behind me, he didn't seem to be moving. I guess the scenery was too much for him.

{ Author's sister's pov: I've written the part about the bird singing a song, mind you that tune was My Time by bo en, tee hee~ wink wink* ;) }  

Sunny seemed awe-struck by the pond. He just.... paused, taking his time to look at every creek and every corner. "  Amazing isn't it?" I said, breaking the silence. Sunny quickly turned his head. "Yes, it's amazing," he said nodding. I ushered him towards the pond, walking slowly, and we made it there in no time. "Come here Sunny, I want you to be the first to look in!" With a small smile, he replied "Sure."

[3rd person pov]

Sunny was filled with excitement he took a deep breath, looked at Mari, then looked in the pond. And what he saw was... nothing. It was just a normal pond. The shock was clear on his face until he heard  "hehehahaAHAHAHAHA did I get you Sunny?! The look on your face is priceless!" Sunny was shocked  He looked a Mari, then looked at the pond, "How do I work this thing?" he, said monotone as ever. "hehe, I'll show you!" Mari said still laughing. She walked up to the pond, looked in, and said: "Let me see my friends, Hero, Kel, Aubrey, and Basil!"  And to Sunny shock, he saw them, the people he freed. 

Mari looked at her brother, and as soon as she saw his face, she immediately regretted bringing him here. He looked, guilty.  'I guess leaving them was hard on him..' Giving it some thought, Mari looked in as well, and what she saw was... depressing.

Her friends looked horrid. Mari liked to forget what she put them through, and even though she saw them change and grow bigger, they didn't seem to mind her absence. But it looked like it was different for Sunny. 'Poor Basil" she thought. Basil, looked as if he was going through hell. Well, it would've been weirder if he didn't. After all, Basil was put through hell.

It hasn't been long since Sunny passed, but in that little time, Basil looked way worse than he did before. "..." Mari was thinking. " Sunny..." she called, "I have,... an idea.." Breaking eye contact with[The Pond ], Sunny looked at Mari, and tilting his head, he said "what" " What if we... show them." "Show them what?" "White Space"

(So uh heyyy.... its been a while huh [haha..] sorry for the break, I just had work and school so it was hard to keep up. anyways this chap is 760 words and i plan to update weekly <3)
