《Basil's pov》

I woke up in my hospital bed and looked around. It was dark, the lights in my room were all out. "must've been the nurses" I said yawing. I got up and scratched my arm, then walked to the window. I looked out. What I saw was a faint yellow and black, it was police tape. "I wonder what happened there..."I thought out loud. "There must've been a commotion while I was sleeping." That was the conclusion I came to, but I was too tired to think about things that have nothing to do with me. So I walked back to my temporary room. Laid my head on my pillow, and went back to bed.

《Hero's pov》

I woke up in my bedroom, well, you couldn't really call "waking up" if i never went to sleep in the first place. I got out of bed, rubbed my eyes, and got ready. A nice cold shower, to keep me nice and sain for the day. After I was done, I walked over to Kel's bed, and shook him awake. "negh, what's up bro why are you..." Kel's voice trailed off, I could tell reality hit him like a rock, after all, he did just lose one of his friends he so desperately tried to get back. I studied Kel's face a bit, I could tell, he didn't get much sleep last night. Big shocker. I told him to get ready. "why?.... oh yea, we have to visit Basil, and let him know what's going on." he said. Kel's sounded so sullen, it shook my soul.

After sending him off to the bath. I went downstairs to make breakfast. it was the least I could do for Kel, as his older brother. When Kel was done getting ready and the food was done we sat at the dinning room table to eat. "so" I started " how'd you sleep last night?" I questioned Kel, "like horrified baby" he said letting out a chuckle. "Same dude, same" I replied, a sigh coming soon after. " Let's go get Aubrey so we cant all tell Basil what happened together "  Kel said, stating the obvious. I wasn't going to point that out to him though, it that's Aubrey's job, not mine.

《 3rd person pov》

Hero and Kel arrived at Aubrey's house, after a short drive. (idk if hero has a car, but let's pretend he does lol) Kel popped out of the car and ran up to Aubrey's house, knocking out the door loud and fast. A moment Aubrey came out, groaning. " KeL!" Aubrey whisper-shouted "my MoM iS SleEPInG sO Be qUiEt!" she whisper-shouted once again. "hurry up and get in the car then!" Kel said, "fine lets hurry up and go before my mom wakes up." As they were walking back to the car, Hero watched them walk. 'they still act like kids.... where has the time gone Mari...' He thought to himself. Soon after Aubrey and Kel arrived, and with Kel sliding into the backseat, they took off for the hospital, DREAD LOOMING over them.

《Hero's pov》

 I took my keys out of my car, then locked the doors. "Ugh Kel hurry up" Aubrey spat at Kel "IM COMMINGGGGGG JUST GIVE ME ONE SEC" Soon after saying that, I saw Kel slowly roll out of the car and next to Aubrey. Comon guys, let's go in now ." I called out to them. We headed into the hospital, and went to see the lady by the front desk.  "Uhm, excuse me" I called out to her, " can me and my party go in visit Basil in room 6969?" I asked politely. "sure dear, I'm sure you now the way, take the elevator and you'll be there in a snap!" After hearing her say that, we left and went to the elevator.

Aubrey Kel and me stepped on the elevator, ready to go.  ' I wonder why they're being so quiet' I wondered to myself. I stood their for a bit, and then the reality hit me ' WE HAVE TO TELL BAISL WHAT HAPPEND TO SUNNY, NO WONDER THEIR SO... gloomy.' With that in my brain as we hit Basil's floor, I got gloomier and  gloomier as we walked to Basil's room. And without even noticing it; we had arrived . I took a deep breath (or two) and knocked on Basil's door.

《 Basil's pov ( wuh woah, shit about to go down -3-)》

I was laying on my bed, reading a magazine when I heard a knock on my door; " B-Basil? Can I come in, Kel and Aubrey are with me too, we need to tell you something... important" It was defiantly Hero's voice that I heard, but why does he sound so nervous?' I questioned to myself. " Well uh, come on in. You guys know you're welcome here anytime you want to come and visit." With that I could hear the door opening, so I sat up to hear whatever they need to tell me. Assuming it was something bad, I mentality prepared myself for the worse, so that whatever news came at me, I wouldn't break down in tears... at least not
immediately.
