ALYANA'S POV
I wake up around noon with a terrible headache and not much memory about what happened last night. I look around to see myself in, what I remember, the guest room. I keep looking and see that I am wearing a big sweatshirt and just my underwear. After a while all of the events from last night come rushing into my brain. I kissed Colby. Then I made out with Colby, but how did I end up in his sweatshirt. What am I even supposed to do now? I'm in a giant house that I don't know my way around, filled with people that I'm just starting to get to know. I slowly open the door and see the hallway from last night. Okay, so that means Colby's room should be around the corner. I slowly open his door to find him sleeping still. The blankets were almost off the bed, exposing Colby only wearing sweatpants. I admire his body for a bit before I decided to wake him up.
"Colby," I whisper, no answer.
"Colby," I whisper louder.
"Huh, what?" He begins to open his squinted eyes, "Oh Alyana!" He says surprised pulling on the blankets.
"Hey, umm how did I get your sweatshirt and how do I get out of here?" I ask giggling .
"Oh," he laughs back, "Well while we were um...kissing, I hurt your scratches so I took care of them."
I sigh in relief, "Oh thank god,"
"What did you think we hooked up?" He says starting to get out of his bed.
"Yeah, I thought we did and I forgot,"
"Oh trust me Alyana, you wouldn't have forgot about it if we did," Colby smirks at me as he grabs my waist.
What he said and what he did gave me butterflies. It made my stomach and heart do flips. I couldn't help but to think back to last night and the feeling I got when I was with him. I want to act on my thoughts and I can tell he does too, but both of us know that it probably isn't the best idea.
"I should, uh probably get going," I say staring into his eyes.
"What are you doing tonight?" He asked staring back into mine.
"Nothing."
"I'll pick you up at 7."
Driving back to my apartment all I did was think. I thought about the past two nights and how those are the only nights I have spent with Colby, but somehow I already feel so connected to him. Is that wrong of me to feel? I don't even know him. Sure the first night we told each other about ourselves, but that doesn't mean that I know him. I don't want to rush into anything, but it all feels so natural and right.
When I hear the doorbell ring right at 7 I start getting those weird butterflies again. Knowing that Colby is outside of my apartment made me so nervous for some reason. I open the door to reveal Colby wearing black skinny jeans and a floral button down with the top few buttons undone. I'm wearing ripped blue jeans with a cropped but baggy, white sweater.
"Hello, Alyana," Colby says looking me up and down.
"Hi, Colby," I say blushing.
"Follow me," He grabs my hand innocently and leads me to his car. He opens and closes the door for me, what a gentleman.
"Where are you taking me," I laugh not know what is going on.
"Out," He says mysteriously.
"You're not gonna kill me and dump my body in the woods right?"
"No," He laughs looking at me with his blue eyes and wide smile.
After 20 minutes in the car we pull into a little restaurant that I've never been to. He turns off the car, gets out and runs to my side to open the door for me.
"Colby," I say getting out of the car.
"Yeah?" He asks looking confused.
"Is this a date?" I ask with laughter peeking through.
"It depends."
"On what?"
"Well if it goes well and you enjoy it, then yes. If it goes horribly wrong and I embarrass myself, then no it's not," He smiles at me, "I want to get to know you better. All your silly habits, what you do to fall asleep when you can't, everything."
Here comes the butterflies again.
"So tell me everything," Colby says after the waiter took our order.
I explain to him my weird habits and everything he asked to know. I talk about how I play with my hair when I'm nervous, and he points out that I've been playing with it all night. I tell him about my family back home, even thought I don't have much of a family anymore. My parents died in a horrible car accident when I was 19, which was one of the real reasons I moved to LA. I talked about everything. After our food came he proceeded to tell me all about himself as we ate. It was so nice getting to know him more. Maybe now I won't feel as bad about falling for him.
"So how did it go?" He asked me as he climbs into his side of the car.
"I say it went pretty well," I winked at him, indicating that it was indeed a date.
"Great," He blushes.
On the ride home we talk about random things but it all had meaning. Getting back to my house I asked him if he wanted to come inside for a bit, maybe watch a movie. I go upstairs and change into something a bit more comfortable, but still attractive. I put on gray Calvin Klein joggers and a white cropped tank top. As I walk down the stairs I see Colby's eyes watching me.
"Sorry, I got tired of my jeans."
"No problem at all, you look great," He smiles waiting for me to meet him at the bottom of my stairs.
"What movie do you want to watch?" I ask grabbing a blanket and sitting down on my couch.
"Whatever you want to watch is fine with me," He sits down beside me.
"Oh come on Colby, stop being so mysterious and pick a movie," I laugh throwing the remote into his lap.
After going through a couple movies he picks a movie, but I don't even remember the name of it. Hell, I wasn't watching the movie at all. I was too busy thinking about what I should do. Do I lay on him? It is a "date", but is it too soon for that. Making the decision for me, Colby puts his arm around me, pulling me a bit closer to him. I couldn't help but to look up at him. His lips, naturally laying slightly apart, called for me.
"Colby," I said quietly.
"Yeah?" He sat up and faced me.
I looked into his eyes as he looked back at mine. We both knew what the other wanted. He did the same thing he did last night, put his hands on my cheeks and led me in with his thumb. Our lips danced together while the movie played in the back. He started to move one of his hands to my leg and just held my inner thigh. I loved it, but the hand wandered up my thigh more. Right before it got any higher his phone rings causing us both to jump. He answers his phone while I gathered myself back together.
"I'm sorry, it was Sam wondering where I was," He rolls his eyes in annoyance.
"Oh no it's fine, it's getting late anyways," I say standing up.
"Oh..yeah it is getting late," His voice sounded disappointed.
"Let me know when you're home okay?" I say mimicking him from the other night.
He just smiles and gets into his car. I shut my door and lean against it for a minute taking in everything. Tonight was amazing.
