A few minutes later, Hailey came running in. She looked at the three adults in the room, they all looked sad and worried. When she looked at her distressed child on the bed, her heart sank. Hailey sits down on the bed and pulls Sky onto her lap. Sky initially flinches, but when she recognizes Hailey's voice and touch, she feels relieved. Sky struggles to keep her balance but eventually manages to fold her legs around Hailey's waist and her arms around Hailey's neck. She buries her face in Hailey's neck and holds onto her for dear life. Hailey strokes Sky's back and holds her close as she tries to figure out what the hell could have happened tonight.

She doesn't get a lot of time to think about it before she gets pulled out of her thoughts by Will. "I need to do some tests, and I need to check her vitals." Hailey nods at him and strokes Sky's back a few more times, "Can we let Will do some tests?" Hailey asks sweetly. Sky doesn't respond, so she tries again, "Honey, can you hear me?" she asks, a little more worried. "Y-yess..." she whispers with a shaky voice. "Can we let Will do some tests?" Hailey asks again. "I think so..." Sky whispers with uncertainty in her voice whilst she moves her head back, looking at Hailey before she gets distracted. She looks around the room, she had forgotten where she was, and they all notice it right away.

Hailey looks at Sky's face for a moment, she looks terrified and traumatized, but she also looks like she is on drugs. When Hailey sees the marks on Sky's neck and the scratches on her side she knows... Her eyes tear up, and she feels like she's gonna be sick. When Will moves the stethoscope underneath Sky's shirt, she flinches. Her eyes widen, and she desperately tries to get the thing out from underneath her shirt. Will steps back in surprise and looks at Hailey, who still has tears in her eyes. "I think someone has put something in her drink.. Wanting to take advantage of her..." She struggles to get the words out, but she knows that they need to know. She takes a deep breath and looks at Sky, "I'm I right honey? Did someone hurt you?" she asks with a calm but broken voice. Sky looks down, too uncomfortable to make eye contact, and nods her head slightly.

Hailey had asked everyone to leave, except for Natalie and Jay. Jay had run into the room just before everyone else got kicked out. "So... it's just you, me, Jay, and Nat know. You know you are safe right?" Hailey whispers into Sky's ear. Sky nods but still feels tense, "I know... But I feel fuzzy and I don't want to be touched," Sky whispers back. "I hear you, But we need to do a few tests. And if we do everything now then no one has to touch you anymore. Okay?" Hailey suggests with a sweet tone, not wanting Sky to feel forced. Sky nods her head again before she moves it back, allowing Natalie to do the tests.

Sky is still sitting on Hailey's lap, it makes her feel safer. She has been doing okay so far but struggles more now, knowing she has to change into the hospital gown and let Natalie check her wounds. She feels like she's about to be violated all over again. Hailey sees her struggle and feels horrible, "What if I get her into the hospital gown and clean the scratches and cuts?" she asks Natalie, who nods in approval before she and Jay leave the room. "Ready?" Hailey asks compassionately. Sky nods, she takes a few deep breaths and moves to sit in front of Hailey.

---
Jay had called Kim to babysit JJ before he went to the hospital. On his way over he had called Voight and asked him to come to the hospital. When he and Natalie left the room as well, Will had already told Voight what they suspected might have happened. Jay walked over to Voight, he looked devastated. Voight on the other hand looked like he was about to kill someone. Voight had informed the team and asked them to come to the hospital too. They had to wait for Sky to tell them what has happened though. Because if they don't know what happened, where it happened, and who is responsible for it, it will be hard to build a case.
---

After Hailey had helped Sky get changed and checked her wounds, she called Jay and Natalie back into the room. Sky had finally calmed down a little, so Natalie was able to get her on the monitor and take some blood. Jay sat down behind Sky, he knew there was almost nothing he could do to help her, but he wanted to try anyway. He was happily surprised when Sky leaned back and rested her head on his chest, she still trusted him. In the meantime, Natalie cleaned the bigger wounds and abrasions, and put some bandages on some of them. After that, they left Jay, Hailey, and Sky alone in the room, giving them a moment to process.

Hailey was still sitting down on the chair next to the bed, she looked numb by now. Sky, who had dozed off again, had turned to her side, still laying on Jay's chest and holding one of his hands. Jay carefully strokes Sky's shoulder with his free hand, but his focus is mainly on Hailey at the moment. "Honey, talk to me, please?" he says softly, looking worried. Hailey looks at him with tears in her eyes, "She might have been raped... And I wasn't there to protect her." She has a combination of fear and anger in her eyes, but the rest of her face just looks sad.

Jay has a hard time seeing the love of his life struggle like this. "It's not your fault, if it's anyone's fault, it's mine. As her father, I am supposed to protect her..." He says with a soft but angry voice, clearly emotional. "Jay..." Hailey says, but Jay interrupts her, "If your gonna tell me that it's not my fault or that we cannot always be there for them, then maybe you should tell that to yourself first..." He doesn't sound angry, he just wants her to stop blaming herself. He moves over to the side of the bed with Sky, giving Hailey enough room to lay down next to them. She moves next to them and gives Jay a few kisses before she lays down.

Sky woke up from the movement, she opens her eyes and looks straight at Hailey. Sky is a little confused as she looks around the room. When she looks down, the memories start to come back. She looks at the hospital gown, feeling and looking very uncomfortable. "Can we go home please?" she asks softly, still looking down. "Not yet, honey. We have to stay the night because you hurt your head, and we need to know what you had in your system..." Hailey explains compassionately. "Do you want to tell us what happened?" Jay asks carefully. "I didn't drink and didn't do drugs, I swear!" Sky states, looking up at Jay, who nods, letting her know he beliefs her.

"There were a few boys, they seemed nice... I think one of them put something in my drink, and then... H-he... uhmm... he tried to r-rape me." Sky explains, struggling to get the words out. "Did he?" Hailey asked, needing to know, but afraid of the answer. Sky shakes her head, "No, but it came really close..." Her voice breaks. The thought of what could have happened and the stress from the traumatic experience make her shiver. Jay places a blanket over her and tucks her in, trying to make her feel a little safer. He holds her tight, kisses her head, and rubs her back. Jay and Hailey both feel a little bit relieved, but they know they shouldn't be. She might not have been raped, but she did get assaulted, and that will leave behind a scar and she will struggle with the trauma.
