In the bright sunlight of north England, four children could be seen on the grass, each very different from each other, but on closer inspection, shared some similarities, like a wide eye or a soft mouth. The oldest, a girl with black hair and striking hazel eyes sat in a corner, a sketchbook in her lap, fingering a pencil between her fingers as she squinted at the picture. To her left, a boy with flaming red hair dangled a pretty pendant from his hand, just out of the reach of his young sister. His green eyes glittered maliciously. Just under him, the youngest sibling jumped around, desperately trying to reach her necklace. Her brown hair bounced around her, and her brown eyes were wide, with tears brimming around them. The last sibling held a book in one hand, looking at all the plants carefully and back to the book. His sandy hair was neat and his green eyes narrowed in concentration.
The little girl trying to get her necklace gave a shrill scream as tears flooded her eyes and her movements became even more wild. At her scream, a pretty woman rushed out the door and her eyes detail upon the boy who was bullying her.
"Aiden, don't bully your sister like that. You know better, as the second oldest in the family. Give her necklace back." She said in a quiet but stern voice. At his mother's orders, he smirked and dropped the necklace, where Sabrina gratefully caught it. Emma, who stopped to watch, looked disapprovingly at her younger brother and went back to sketching. Meanwhile, the youngest brother was only slightly distracted by the commotion.
"You four have been out in this yard forever. Why don't you take a little stroll around the park? I hear they are selling ice lollies there, now that it is warmer," suggested their mother.
At the sound of this, the youngest perked up, yelling "ICE LOLLIES, ICE LOLLIES!" She ran to her elder sister who was gathering all the children and ushering towards the park, but none of them knew what it had in store for them.
