A/N: Hello, and to those of you who are familiar with northern England, you may know there is no park around the mountain that I speak of; I made it up, because it's really only fun when you invent stuff every now and then. ~K

The four siblings giggled as they ran towards the park. They chased each other as they ran along the path. Benjamin was it, and he chased his older brother. Sadly, his brother was much faster and more agile than young Ben, and he ducked and weaved through his siblings, until Benjamin gave up and started chasing his sisters instead. Young Sabrina shrieked with laughter and ran away as fast as her small legs could carry her. Although she tried her best, her brother managed to catch her.

"This isn't fair!" she whined, stamping her feet. "I'm always it! Can't Aiden be it for once?" her delicate face was streaming with tears.

"It's okay Reeny." soothed Emma, the oldest. "It's okay. How about I'll be it, and I'll catch that big meanie of a brother okay?" she said, patting her younger sister's back. Sabrina wiped her tears and nodded enthusiastically. Giggling, she tapped Emma's hand and ran away towards the park.

Laughing, Emma ran to chase after Aiden, who examined his nails and looked up in mock surprise at his older sister bearing down on him. With a graceful step to the side, he tried to evade his sister, but at that moment, she spread her arms like a bird and caught him.

Just at that moment, they caught the first glimpse of a looming shadow in the distance. It was huge, and the sight of it propelled the siblings faster.

"C'mon, Reeny! We're almost there!" urged Emma, who trailed behind Aiden, holding a hand out to help Sabrina. "Just a little bit more!"

The four had finally reached the arch, and they were exhausted. Aiden stopped, doubling over and taking shallow breaths. Emma sat down, winded, holding Sabrina's hand. Benjamin promptly collapsed on the ground while Sabrina wobbled on her feet before falling to the ground, exhausted. When they finally got enough energy to walk, Aiden led the way, followed by Benjamin, Emma and Sabrina.

"This is so beautiful!" Emma exclaimed for the millionth time. "I really need to bring my sketchbook here sometime!"

"First one to the mountain wins!" yelled Aiden as he ran towards the mountain.

"Not now. We just got here Aiden!" breathed Sabrina, who was still woozy from the run. "Let's go get some ice lollies. Mum said I could have some. Emma brought some money from mum as well."

Emma nodded and led the group towards the Ice Lolly truck, where many more children were ordering ice lollies.

"What do you all want?" asked Emma, reaching inside her pocket to take out the money.

"I want a Vanilla- blueberry-chocolate-mint swirl!" joked Aiden. "Just kidding, I want chocolate."

"I would like blueberry." mumbled Benjamin, who was always nervous around strangers.

"Ooh, ooh, I want strawberry!" called Emma, who, unlike Ben, was always overexcited around people.

"Alright, then guys." she said to her siblings. They could be annoying, but in the end, she loved them all. She still remembered the day she discovered she was going to have a brother.

It was a windy day when her mother went into labour. She remembered her screaming in pain, and the blood. There was a lot of blood. She was three then, but she was old enough to understand the concept of blood. You get hurt, you bleed. She was not used to seeing so much blood, and she thought her mother was going to die. But she was powerless to help, all she could do was sit there uselessly, clutching her favourite stuffed bunny. It seemed like it lasted forever, but it was over in a minute. Her baby brother was born. Back then, he was a pink, slimy, squirmy little thing, and looked absolutely disgusting. After they wiped him off, however, he turned out to be a very handsome baby, with a tuft of dark reddish hair. This experience turned out to be useless, when her youngest siblings were born. Her mother expected her to be old enough to take care of her younger brother while they went to the hospital, so she was stuck with Aiden since he was born.

She remembered these memories fondly, when a voice jolted her out of her trance. Shaking her head, she looked at the man in the truck, wearing a ridiculous white apron with dark smudges.

"I would like a chocolate cone, a blueberry cone, a strawberry cone, and a vanilla cone, all in small please." she said politely. She held out a ten euro note in her hand, which the man took greedily. He handed Emma a 20c coin, along with four cones, which she handed to her siblings, respectively.

"Let's go, guys!" Emma urged, pointing to the mountain. "The whole reason we came was to climb the mountain, right?" Grabbing the hand of Sabrina, they ran towards the mountain, whose peak touched the clouds.

"Last one to the mountain is a rotten egg!" shouted Aiden, as he realised he was the only one not on the way to the mountain. He sprinted and managed to pass his sisters when he tripped and fell.

"Ow!" he groaned as he stood up. He had a nasty cut on his elbow and knee, and he also skinned the palm of his hand. Little bits of stone and gravel were lodged in his hand.

"Aiden! Are you okay?" Emma asked, worriedly. "Do you need any help?" she reached into her pocket to search for a band-aid.

"No!" replied Aiden, who was brushing the rocks out of the cuts. "I don't need your help." and he limped off towards the mountain.

================================================================

As the siblings finally made it to the bottom of the mountain, they sat down immediately and began to look at their handmade map of the mountain.

"Do you wanna go through here?" asked Aiden, pointing to the Northwest face of the mountain, where a red line was marked.

"Actually, we've never been to the south face. Do you guys want to go explore?. Do you all want to go the other side?" asked Emma.

"Is it safe?" Benjamin asked quietly. "It might be dangerous."

"Nonsense, Benny boy! If it weren't safe, would we even be here?" laughed Aiden, who already started on the way there. "Let's go!"
