"Hiya!" Shouyou greeted with a bright smile, causing the other male's cheeks to flush at the sudden ray of sunshine beside him. "Uh, um... hi..." He stuttered, fiddling with the buttons on his PSP. "Whatcha playing? You play games on that, right?"

"Well, um, yeah, sorta..." Gulping, the male turned the screen to the ginger, revealing the paused game screen. He made an 'o' with his mouth in understanding. "So, whatcha doing in a place like this?" The male pursed his lips, averting his gaze to his lap.

"I have... trouble speaking, um, to people... so..." Humming, Shouyou scratched at his cheek, giving Kenma a view of his muscles and tanned, tattooed arms. "Um, are-are you from... here?" Shouyou turned to him, grinning widely.

"Nope! 'm from Hawaii! My name's Shouyou, by the way!" His exuberant attitude caused a bunch of people to stare at them- him, specifically. "Uh... Kenma..." He lamely introduced himself, gulping in hopes of soothing his dry throat.

Shouyou held his hand out, and Kenma could see how calloused his small palm was. "Nice to meet you!" Awkwardly, Kenma shook his hand, its warmth a large contrast to his cold hand. After that, they sat in silence, and everyone went back to what they were doing.

Kenma played his video game, and Shouyou kicked his feet back and forth while humming to the music playing. "You know..." Reaching up, Shouyou tucked a strand of hair behind Kenma's ear, smiling softly. "Your hair's really pretty!"

Just as Kenma was about to retort, the ginger's eyes widened in excitement. "Malia showed me this song before!" Quickly reaching into his bag, he pulled out a tambourine, shaking it to the beat. "Do you just carry that with you..?"

Kenma questioned, glancing around at the people staring at them and putting his hair in his face. "Of course!" He started humming, his voice sending a shiver down Kenma's spine.

The receptionist heard the racket and discreetly turned the music up.

"I imagine myself in satin, the room was platinum and gold I, dance and catch your eye you'll be mesmerized, oh~"

Some of the people started clapping to the beat when they heard him singing, his aura contagious. When the chorus started he stood, hitting and shaking the tambourine perfectly to the beat.

"Oh, yeah~ Don't go yet, don't go yet. Oh, yeah, don't go yet, don't go yet."

Another teen stood, taking his hand and singing with him. A few adults stood, dancing in their spot or with each other. He laughed when the stranger dipped him playfully, grinning upside-down at Kenma, who seemed to be the only person not dancing around.

Hell, even the receptionist was swaying her hips in her seat. Shouyou reached out to Kenma, pulling him out of his chair and causing him to stumble a little. The music was loud, but as Shouyou swayed the two of them, their hands connected, a small smile tugged at his lips.

Shouyou's voice was soon followed by several other voices as they all sang and danced about.

"Oh, yeah, don't go yet, don't go yet. Oh, yeah, don't go yet, don't go yet."

The pudding head found himself enraptured by the ginger's beautiful smile and warmth. It was as if he had the entire sun in his body. Kenma spun him under his arm, causing a laugh to leave Shouyou.

Was this what it's like where Shouyou's from? If so, he wouldn't mind going there.

The door to the back room opened and a therapist with blonde hair called to Kenma, her head bobbing and a smile on her face. "Awe~ See you later, Kenma! Good luck!"

An adult female came and took Shouyou's hand and they began dancing and laughing, as the ginger waved bye to Kenma.

When the door closed behind them, he couldn't hear the music thanks to the soundproof walls, and the silence, that once comforted, now, slightly, made him uncomfortable.

-----

When the song ended, the receptionist turned the music down and stated that the doctor would get angry between her laughs of joy. Still, as everyone settled, they talked amidst each other, the lobby being filled with laughter and smiles instead of uneasy, depressing silence.

Shouyou conversed with everyone that wanted to talk to him, not realizing what big an impact he had on them. Once his name was called, he tucked his tambourine back into his bag and waved bye to everyone.

They waved back happily.

"So, why the sudden visit, Shouyou?" His therapist, Mrs. Watanabe, questioned, biting gently on the end of her pen. "Trauma," he simply stated, and she smiled tenderly, turning her head to the side. "You're gonna have to be more specific, Shouyou."

-----

By the time Shouyou got out of the building, he didn't see Kenma and frowned. Shaking off his depressing vibes, he smiled, humming softly to a Hawaiian song as he walked to the store his mother was going to pick him up at.

The people around him looked at him, smiling at the infectious, positive attitude. Walking into the store, he decided to look around and get something to drink and munch on until his mother arrived.

Twirling around a cart exiting one of the aisles, he waved at the person, finally spotting the drink he's been searching for. "Ra-ma-ne..." He sounded out, tapping a finger in the air as each syllable was pronounced.

"Actually," Someone behind him voiced. "It's Ra-mu-ne," they kindly informed, and Shouyou turned to the stranger, smiling widely. "Thanks! I heard these are really good, so I wanted to get a few!"

Nodding, the stranger walked closer to Shouyou, smirking. His messy hair nearly covering one of his eyes. Shouyou almost laughed at it. "Aren't you a little young for tattoos?" Glancing at his arms, the ginger shook his head.

"These are from my tribe! I'm not from here, ahaha~!" For example, he lifted his shirt up, giving the male an eye-full of his luscious, tanned skin and small, yet slightly muscular body. "Ah, I see..." Taking a step forward, the person held a hand out.

"Name's Kuroo Tetsurou," Kuroo informed, shamelessly letting his gaze travel up and down Shouyou's body. Chuckling, the ginger gripped his hand, shaking it. "I'm Shouyou Hinata, but you can just call me Shouyou!"

"Do you live-"

"Kuroo," a newcomer called, and Shouyou released Kuroo's hand, turning behind the black-haired male with a wide grin.
