THE BOMBAY RUN

PART 15

Part 15 :

Jason knew this was the right time to strike. He saw a fire extinguisher attached to the wall. He quickly removed the extinguisher from the wall and threw it toward one of the men with his full strength. It hit the gun man on his forehead and he went down in a single blow. Jason sprinted towards the other guy and kicked the gun out of his hand. Then he gave a strong blow to the chin and wrapped his hands tightly around his neck and twisted it and the man slumped to the ground. He was no match to the brawn of Jason.

“Good work son!” Jason saw his father limping with the support of Abhijeet coming towards him. “ok listen there are more 10 men on guard around here. Let us take them down and Abhijeet you go and get the police till then we will handle this guys.” John said.

Abhijeet without further questioning jumped out of the window and ran to get the help.

 Jason and John searched around the place for anyone. They carefully moved along in sync hiding behind the walls and pillars. They saw all the 10 men with guns hanging in their necks playing cards in the room which seemed as some control room as lot of computers and big screens were seen inside the room. They were all seated in a circle covered by supposedly sound proof glass walls probably that’s the reason why they couldn’t hear any firing of bullets.

“Dad I don’t think so we can take all of them together, we should wait for the backup.” Jason whispered. Jason and John both went on their knees tired and took deep breaths with their backs on the support of the pillars. They both smiled looking at each other as it was long time after which they had seen each other and felt a sense of relief. They talked for a hour about the happenings with the case and how they landed up over here. They knew the help would be coming anytime soon and they were not wrong. About 20-30 to uniformed man with guns emerged at the entrance and thumped into the room where the culprits were playing.

A higher ranked officer approached the wrights and thanked them for their support. John totally explained the scenario to the officer and told all the hideouts of Sadaaf and his gang and also the officials who were helping him out. “ But there is just one problem he has planted four bombs in Mumbai and I don’t know where he has them. I think we have a last chance of catching him at one of his hideouts but if he escapes that then we have a bizarre situation in our hands.” remarked John.

The officer then helped the Wright’s and Abhijeet to reach their hotel where there was a happy family reunion. The quest almost done and dusted. Andy just couldn’t help his tears stop as always due to his emotional attitude. All decided to party that night and went to the hotel bar and boozed.

Just then John’s phone rang “ Hahaha…U’ll never stop your antiques. I had told you’ll to stay out of this but you are a bad family. Your attempt to catch me has been abortive. I have escaped and more importantly with the remote switch to all the bombs and before I move ahead I want to settle few personal scores with your family. I’ll call you back tomorrow for further information. Adios!” the voice on the other side disappeared and the beep of call ended was heard.

John freezed in his place and the glass of beer fell from his hands. The brothers and Abhijeet totally appalled by this sudden reaction and quickly inquired who was on the call.

“ Sadaaf has escaped with the remote switch to all the bombs” John said gulping his throat.

Fear could be seen in eyes of all the four men!

What lies ahead?..

I hope you are liking the climax as this was the penultimate part before the  final showdown. I have already had the last part panned out in my mind and its going to be awesome I promise.
