"And then, Jasper got to go on the news and everyone thinks he's so awesome and it's so not fair," Henry whined.

The auto-snacker window revealed a plate of steaming fries, fresh from an oven. I took the plate and carried it to the couch. The grey cushions puffed underneath my weight. Ray and Bork erupted into a fit of grunts. Ray swung his leg into Bork's side, gripping onto him and pulling him to the ground.

"Down you go," Ray's lips curled into a smile.

Bork twisted his legs through the air, landing on his feet and standing.

"Are you listening to me?" Henry asked.

"I'm not," Charlotte groaned.

Ray turned toward the boy, bouncing on the tip of his toes to keep his adrenaline pumping, "I just don't get what you're upset about,"

"What's not to get?" Henry cocked a brow, "Charlotte gets it,"

"No she doesn't," Charlotte apprised.

"Hen,"

I chomped into a fry, a mixture of salt and grease traveling down my throat.

"I don't get what your issue is either," I shrugged, "The situation will come and go,"

Henry's face twisted with jealousy. His foot moved in front of the other, walking toward Charlotte.

"Well, Jasper did basically nothing and suddenly everyone in Swellview think's he's a hero," he groused.

I rolled my eyes and stood up, third-wheeling the conversation.

"And I capture bad guys with you and you all the time and no one gives me any credit,"

Charlotte's face dropped with disbelief. A fire built up in her veins that Henry wouldn't want to be the victim of.

"You get credit all the time," she stood.

"Yeah, the vice mayor gave us those medals and that gift card for a medium frozen yogurt,"

Ray gripped onto Bork's hand and sent him over his shoulder and into the pad beneath them.

"No," Henry denied, "Kid Danger get's the credit and the medal's and the yogurt,"

I furrowed my eyebrows.

"But, I spend most of my life as Henry Hart and no one knows I do anything," he sighed.

My eyes wandered down to my feet. Hearing Henry describe the way he felt made me feel guilty for him. Since the start, things went wrong for him in many ways; lack of sleep, losing people in his life, lying to people he loved the most. In a way, Henry didn't ask for it, but he knew the price of having a persona engulfed with stress.

"Why can't you just forget about it?" I cocked an eyebrow, "I mean, do you do this for the glory?"

Ray cried out, wrapping an arm around Bork and dragging him to the floor, pinning him with his leg. Bork tapped on Ray's leg, giving up the fight. Ray bounced back up with a grin written on his face.

"Man, I'm good," Ray boasted.

Charlotte moved between Henry and I.

She balked, "You know, Bork's not even trying,"

"What?" Ray scoffed, "Yes he is. You're trying your hardest right?"

Bork growled, and slowly shook his head.

"Mm. Oh really? Okay, well I want you to start trying your hardest right now," Ray demanded.

Bork's eyebrows perked up at the thought.
