I paced around the Man Cave with Charlotte and Henry, waiting for my dad to come down to leave for his plane. He would be late if he didn't leave soon, I was worried he wasn't going to leave at all.

"Where is he?" Charlotte huffed.

"I don't know," Henry shook his head, "Ray, come on, you're going to miss your plane!"

"I'm coming!" Ray yelled.

The sprocket door lifted as Ray slammed into the wall behind it, a mattress protecting his fall. Ray stumbled over the sprocket lip, lugging the mattress with him.

"What is he...?"

"Ray, what are you doing with that mattress?" I cocked an eyebrow.

"I'm taking it on my trip," he rasped, stomping down the stairs.

"They're not gonna let you take a mattress on a plane," Charlotte informed.

"Yeah, you're right," Ray tossed the mattress to the floor, "Maybe I shouldn't go,"

Ray skipped to the command center and plopped into the chair.

"See, I knew it," Henry said walking over.

"Ray, you can't blow off your cousin's wedding," Charlotte said, following Henry's lead.

Ray sighed, "I know, but, most marriages don't work out. I'll just go to his next wedding,"

Ray jumped out of his chair and toward the sprocket, Henry jumped in front of him and forced him to focus.

"Okay, Dad," I looked him in the eye, "Just admit that you're afraid to leave town because you think me, Henry, Charlotte, and Schwoz can't handle things without you,"

"Well, what if there's an emergency?" Ray questioned.

I pulled out my gum tube, "Then Henry and I will blow a bubble, and Danger Girl and Kid Danger will deal with it,"

Ray twisted towards me, "What if you suddenly get that disease, huh? Numb tongue?"

I blinked at him.

"And you can't blow a bubble?"

"Numb tongue?" Henry repeated.

"That's not a real disease," Charlotte said.

The elevator dinged open behind us.

"People don't talk normally on second and then all of a sudden start going- bluh-uhl-lawala-laluhlul,"

"Uh oh," Schwoz groaned, walking up behind us, "Does she have numb tongue?"

I rolled my eyes.

"See?" Ray pointed to the foreign man.

"Hey," Schwoz checked his watch, "Shouldn't you be on your way to the airport?"

"Yeah," Henry said and pulled on Ray's arm.

"Yes," Charlotte and I said, pulling along with Henry.

"I need my suitcase," Ray said, stopping to face the sprocket, "Bork!"

The sprocket door lifted, and a tall, muscular man sauntered out with a giant blue chest.

"Hey, Bork," Ray said, "Bring it over here,"

Bork grunted and walked over, dropping the chest to the ground. I stumbled backward as I tried to regain my balance. My eyes widened at the man. Bork was slowly growing into becoming a major fear of mine with his strength.

"Thanks, buddy," Ray smiled and pulled a raw chunk of meat from behind him.

Bork growled with widened eyes, beaming down at the meat before biting into it.
