First Day

Other universes exist. There are multiple universes that host solar systems that aren't exactly like the ones humans live in. A new universe discovered means a new adventure. Some of these universes are aware of each other. Some aren't. Humans don't know it, but they're known about by a lot of universes. It was the year 2012 when everything changed for Earth. The humans on the planet witnessed strange creatures coming from out of the ground. Not too long, they noticed some of the creatures were brainless and others had a sort of intellect to them. Both of them craved the same thing; humans.
The humans were attacked by these creatures they all deemed as demons due to their devilish stare of origin from beneath them. Many humans were being eaten alive and the few that were lucky enough to not to be eaten tried to fight back since there was nowhere to hide.
In Los Angeles, a young girl named Rebecca Mark was one of the few trying to fight back against the demons. She had saved a few people but knew she couldn't keep this fight on for very much longer. As it seemed like she was going to be cornered by the brainless demons, someone said to her, "Young lady, get down!"
Rebecca was confused as to who was telling her this until she saw who the demons were turning their attention to. It was an older man named John. He held two knives in his hand and ran in to slice their heads off. Rebecca found him to be very impressive.
She asked, "Who are you?"
John yelled, "Never mind that! Get out of here!"
It was at this moment that one of the demons jumped onto John, causing the both of them to hit the ground. John tried his best to stop the demon from biting his face off. He pushed the demon off him and managed to slice the demon's head off.
Rebecca knew that John was going to need more help than just two knives, so she ran in to help him fight the demons.
She ran in behind one of the demons and wrapped her arms around its belly. The demon growled as it was lifted off the ground and slammed down on its head by Rebecca.
Rebecca turned over to see the smashed head of the demon she just killed and felt a sudden surge of sickness in her stomach. She said, "Disgusting. Is that how they're all like?"
A demon charged at Rebecca after her attack on its fellow demon.
Rebecca tried coming up with a plan but the demon was way too close. Before she knew it, the demon had fallen to its face due to John grabbing one of its legs. He then jumped onto the back of the demon and sliced its head off. John then turned to the demon beside him and sliced its head off as well.
Rebecca watched John murder these demons as if it was some type of dance that he had created months ago.
She asked herself, "Who is this guy?"
John was kicking, tossing, and slicing demons as they continued their attack on him. She told herself, "He's got to be some type of trained assassin."
The slicing of demons continued on and on without any assistance.
John had finished the demons off and stared at Rebecca with demon blood all over him. Rebecca found herself to be in a state of shock. She wanted to fight like him, but knew now wasn't the time.
Because at that moment, the ground began to rumble. Rebecca's first thought was to look up into the sky, due to alien space ships causing the ground to rumble whenever they arrived in Earth's atmosphere. But this was different. At this moment, the ground was starting to crack. John and Rebecca both followed where the cracks in the ground were originating from.
A giant hand reached from out of the ground. Along with the hand came a glowing red aura coming from within the ground. Smoke blew into the air as if it had been stuck for so long and finally released. The hand came down onto the ground near Rebecca and John. The claws attached to each finger dug into the ground as whatever was attached to the hand was pulling itself up. Rebecca backed away as the two watched in terror. A big red demonic creature shot from the ground. The creature roared into the sky, alerting all the demons in the area of its arrival. Each nearby demon gave a loud roar as the giant demonic creature finished its roar.
John said, "I'm going to need some bigger knives."
Rebecca looked around and saw that everyone was equally terrified, as herself, of the giant red demon in front of them. She knew that no one could take this thing on. She looked at John, who seemed to be trying to come up with a plan to kill the demon. But there was no way of killing it. There, however, a way of driving it back down into the ground.
She quickly threw her elbow into the face of John, allowing her to steal his two knives. John screamed at her to come back, but Rebecca ignored him as she ran at the giant red demon. Rebecca was done running from these demons.
The Giant Red Demon looked down at her and found it interesting that a human would actually attempt to take it on.
Its giant hand swung down at Rebecca, but this only helped Rebecca get a head start. She jumped up into the air and landed onto the arm of the demon. She quickly got onto her feet and began rushing up toward the head of The Giant Red Demon.
The creature saw the attack she was trying to commit and used its other hand to swipe at her. Rebecca swung the hand coming her way and stuck the two blades in that direction. This allowed her to feel the force of the hit, but not to get knocked off. Because the two blades stuck into the hand of The Giant Red Demon, Rebecca was still attached to the demon. She used the blades to climb up the demon's hand and continued on to her attack.
The closer she got to the head, the more she began to feel the fear of her actions. But in her mind, she thought of all this demon could do if she didn't try to send it back into the ground.
Rebecca leaped from the hand of The Giant Red Demon and flew toward the creature's head. The Giant Red Demon watched Rebecca get closer and closer, without a thing to do.
She stabbed the two knives into the demon's eye, causing it to roar in terrible pain. The attack hurt so much that the demon lost its footing and began to fall backwards.
John was so surprised by what Rebecca was capable of, but soon realized that the demon she was on was currently falling back into the fiery hole it came from.
He shouted for her to get off and this caused Rebecca to understand her situation. She quickly began rushing to get off the demon before it was too late.
John rushed to see if he could try and save her. As the demon's body fell down into the hole, John got close enough to very nearly grab Rebecca's hand. She jumped from the demon's body and reached out for John's hand. But unfortunately, Rebecca wasn't close enough to be rescued.
Herself and John both shared a look of fear as they got far from each other. John screamed out for her as she fell down into the hole with The Giant Red Demon...

A while after the fall, Rebecca found herself regaining consciousness. She looked around herself and saw that she was in some type of throne room with fire flowing around them like a waterfall. She looked forward and saw The Giant Red Demon sitting beside a giant chair like a dog. In the chair sat an equally large red man, running his hands over The Giant Red Demon. Rebecca tried sitting up, but however she landed here caused her a lot of pain. The Giant Red Man said, "So, you're the one that hurt my precious pet."
Rebecca soon realized the gravity of the situation she was in and sat up fearful of her life. She looked all around her and asked, "Where am I?"
The Giant Red Man said, "This is my home. Or as you humans like to call it; Hell."
Those words sent chills down Rebecca's spin. She began thinking of ways to even get back to the top. But all of them seemed impossible at the moment. The Giant Red Man said, "Make yourself at home, because you won't be leaving."
This caused a surge of fire within the heart of Rebecca. She heard this man tell her that she wasn't leaving, and suddenly she was ready to force her way out. She met eyes with The Giant Red Man and said, "We'll see about that."
