In another part of the world, a band of humans calling themselves Worldly Heroes were traveling around the planet in a stolen alien space craft killing any demons they could. During a journey to Shanghai, they witnessed a squad of demons running through a small village known as Nanxun.
The Heroes landed their space craft and quickly rushed out to help the people being slaughtered by demons.
A family known as the Wu's were currently being protected by the mother and father of the family, Ai and Renshu Wu. Their three daughters stood behind them helplessly.
Ai and Renshu were both handling the demons pretty well. But when a tall and muscular built demon with wings approached the two, Ai was the first to defend her family. The demon slapped her out of the way. Renshu saw how different the demon was and knew he couldn't leave his family to die. He ran at the demon with everything he had, but the demon impaled him through the stomach with his claws. Ai screamed in terror at the sight of her husband dying.
It was at this moment that one of Wu daughters stood up. She had just watched her father die and was never going to let a loved one of hers die again. The daughter picked up her fathers rifle and pointed it at The Winged Demon. He smiled at her, believing she couldn't hurt him but that's when a bullet was shot into his shoulder. The Winged Demon turned to see the leader of the Heroes, a man named Bradley Reed standing behind him with a single handgun. The Winged Demon looked around and saw the Heroes overwhelming his demons. The Winged Demon looked back at Bradley, who was just smiling at him and waiting for the demon to make a move. The Winged Demon shouted, "Everyone, fall back!"
The demons walking on all four legs heard the words of The Winged Demon and followed behind him as he took off for the sky.
Bradley watched as the demon took off but was caught off guard when the Wu daughter began shooting up at The Winged Demon. She screamed in Mandarin. Bradley sat his gun down and approached her.
He placed his hand on her shoulder and that's when she jolted away from him and gave him a look of fear. Bradley tried to get her to see that he was not her enemy. It was at that moment that the daughter began to cry. She dropped the rifle and covered her face as tears rolled down her cheeks. Bradley looked near her and saw the rest of her family doing the same thing. He noticed the dead body of Renshu right beside his feet. He now understood what was going on and wished to comfort the young girl.
The other Heroes approached Bradley from behind. One named Vincent Presley said, "We're all done here Brad, where to next?"
Bradley had his eye on the daughter and bent down in front of her. He had noticed how much strength she showed when trying to take down The Winged Demon. She looked him in his eyes once he got to eye level with her.
"Hey." Bradley said in a soft tone. "Do you want to kill that thing?"
Bradley pointed to the sky and strangely, the daughter understood what he meant. She looked up in the sky and then back to him. She nodded innocently and caused a big grin to appear on Bradley's face.
Another Hero named Zora Cooper said, "She's just a kid Brad. You can't ask her to join a fight this dangerous."
The daughter said, "No! I want to do it... I want to make that thing pay!"
Everyone but Bradley, was surprised by her response. Bradley said, "All right kid, you're with us. What's your name?"
"Lin." said the young Wu daughter. "Lin Wu."
Bradley said, "All right Lin, let's go hunting."
As Lin began following the Heroes, Ai ran behind her and grabbed her hand. She said, "Please! Don't go! Stay with us!"
Lin turned to her mother and said, "Mama, I want to make sure that what happens to baba doesn't happen to anyone elses baba."
Ai hugged Lin and said, "You're so brave! Please, come back to me."
"Yes mama." Lin said to her mother before walking up the ramp of the stolen alien space craft.

The Winged Demon was on his way to another village to feed on humans when laser beams were shot at him. The demon had moved just in time to not be shot, but when he turned to see who his attackers were, he saw the Heroes appear through the clouds. The demon smiled at the sight of them and quickly began flying rapidly.
Bradley, piloting the space craft, quickly followed after The Winged Demon. Bradley turned to a Worldly Hero named David Close and yelled, "Aim for his head!"
David nodded as he jumped in front of the dashboard to control the laser cannons on the craft.
On the dashboard was a monitor that allowed him to see where the cannons were aiming. He moved the lever around to see where he could find The Winged Demon. David then zoomed in on the alien's head and blasted a laser beam directly at it. The beam flew right into the head of the Winged Demon causing it to fall from the sky.
Bradley cheered as he watched The Winged Demon fall from the sky. He turned to Lin, who looked skeptical of it all. He sighed, noticing how underwhelmed she seemed by it all.
Vincent said, "We should land and take a closer look."
Bradley agreed and began to fly the space craft down toward the location that The Winged Demon fell.

The ramp lowered down and everyone ran outside with loaded weapons aiming all around them.
Bradley approached The Winged Demon and saw a large hole in the demon's head. He smiled and said, "Yeah, this thing is done for."
That's when the demon began to chuckle. This shocked everyone as they now saw that The Winged Demon couldn't be killed by a blast to the head like that. He stood on his feet and stared down at the Heroes. The demon said, "You fools dare take me on?!"
He spread his wings out wide and said, "I am one of the strongest demons to step foot on this land!"
The Heroes aimed their weapons up at The Winged Demon, expecting him to attack. The Winged Demon said, "There's no way you can stop me!"
Lin then stepped toward the towering Winged Demon. The demon looked down at her, surprised by how none afraid she was. Lin stared up at the demon and said, "You're a murderer!"
The Winged Demon laughed loudly and asked, "How do you think I got the way I am?!"
"I don't know," said the innocent Lin. "But I'm going to stop you!"
The Winged Demon asked, "How do you plan on stopping me, kiddo?"
Lin then whipped out a blade she had hidden in her pants and sliced the leg of the demon, causing him to fall to one knee. Lin used that knee he had up to jump off from and throw her own knee into his face. The demon fell backwards due to the force Lin used on his knee attack.
The Heroes watched Lin attack the demon with the look of disbelief on their faces. Zora asked, "Who the hell were her parents?"
Bradley said, "I don't know, but I don't think they were regular Chinese folk."
Lin jumped onto the chest of the demon and raised the blade to cut off his neck. The Winged Demon used his wings to fly himself off the ground, causing Lin to fall to the ground. He floated above her and said, "You have skill, but that won't save you from me!"
The Winged Demon flew down at Lin. She jumped out of the way before he could grab her and grabbed onto his tail. The demon turned to see Lin holding onto him and climbing her way toward him. He couldn't believe she even managed to grab him. He flew all around trying to get her to fall off but Lin held her grip on him.
Below, the Heroes watched as the Winged Demon struggled with Lin. They literally had no ideas on how to even fight this thing. Vincent just said, "Whoa."

The Winged Demon finally had enough of Lin, he raised his tail up toward him and used that opportunity to punch her across the face. This sent Lin straight to the ground, weakened by the hit. She sat up and saw the demon flying straight toward him. Lin didn't even think of a way to defend herself from his attack.
That's when Bradley rammed his body into the gut of the demon, causing the both of them to hit the ground.
The Winged Demon stood up to see Bradley whipping the dirt from his jacket. He said, "You see, I can't let you hurt the kid."
Enraged by how the humans were beating him, he flew straight at Bradley to finally kill him. Bradley aimed his hand gun at The Winged Demon, ready to shoot as many rounds as it took to bring the demon down. But what he didn't see coming was Lin jumping off his shoulders and slicing his head off.
His head landed first and then his body came second. Lin then landed soon and turned to see the body of The Winged Demon she wanted dead. Bradley had witnessed the entire event and found it all to be so fast that he couldn't even process it all.
He fell onto his butt and gave a deep sigh. "Wow," said an exhausted Bradley. "That was the strongest one yet."
The Heroes surrounded him, agreeing that they had never faced a demon that strong before. But Lin was just worried about if her father had seen what she did.
Bradley noticed how sad Lin looked next to the body of the demon responsible for the death of her father. He stood up and walked over beside her. He placed his hand on her shoulder and said, "You know, you could do very well with us. I know you want to go back to your town. But if you ever decide you want to save the world with us, just come find us."
Lin looked up at Bradley and hugged him as she cried. She thanked him for helping her find her fathers killer. Bradley smirked and rubbed her head.
"No problem," Bradley told the sobbing young girl. "No problem at all."
