The rays of the sun seeping through the curtains and falling on my face caused me to wake up. Sitting up on the bed, I looked beside me to find the bed empty.

Where was she?

Slipping out of the sheets I picked up my boxers from the floor and slid into them. Strolling towards the bathroom, I couldn't help the rush of my blood at the image of her naked body in the shower.

To my astonishment, the bathroom was empty with no sign of her. I stepped back into the bedroom and looked around. Her clothes were missing from the floor and so was her cell phone and clutch from the coffee table.

Did she leave without even telling me?

A girl left without even informing me after the most wonderful night of my life. How was that even possible? I was always done with women after spending the night with them, and never even look at them again. And now when I wanted someone even after one night she had just disappeared?

Storming out of the bedroom in anger I checked the whole suite but to my disappointment, she was home for real. How was that possible that I still wanted a woman but she had no interest in staying? From her moans and screams, I was sure she had enjoyed the sex every bit, then why had she left?

I looked for my cell and then found it in my jacket pocket. Dialing my right-hand Sean I lighted a cigar and waited for him to pick up the call.

"What's up?" he asked receiving the call.

"Come to my room," I snapped apparently for no reason, and disconnected the call.

I was not able to digest the fact that a girl had left without a word after spending the most passionate night of my life with her.

A knock sounded after a few minutes and I opened the door. Sean's eyes assessed my expressions, he might have sensed my bad mood from the way I had snapped at him.

"What happened?" He inquired.

"A girl," I squeezed my eyes shut not understanding what to say to him.

"What girl?" He asked startled.

"I met a girl in the club last night, she came back with me to the hotel. We had sex and then she left in the morning without a word," I said pacing in the living room of my suite.

"So what is the problem? The sex or that she left?"

"Both," I replied halting then raking my hair with my fingers.

"She wasn't good, you want another woman? I can ask for an escort," Sean leaned against the back of the sofa.

"You are not getting it," I barked.

"Then say it clearly," he rolled his eyes.

I started pacing again, what was I supposed to tell him? Why was I even bothered if she left? I usually preferred if my sex partner went their way after the hook-up. Then what was my problem?
