3.2 The Dementor

Harry's POV

"Who is this?" Ron asked pointing at a man who seemed to be sleeping.

"Professor R.J Lupin" Hermione answered.

"She knows everything, how is that she knows everything?"

"Its written on his bag Ronald."

"Is he really asleep?" I asked them.

"Seems to be, why?" y/n said looking curious.

"I need to tell you guys something." I said as I closed the door.

"So you mean that Sirius Black escaped from Azkaban to come after you"? y/n asked and I nodded.

"But they will catch him right?" Hermione asked.

"Well of course. No one has ever break out from Azkaban and he is a serious killer." 

Wow! Thank you Ron.

We were busy in our conversations . Ron and Hermione fighting over rats and cats, and suddenly the lights started to flicker and the train started to slow down. It slowly came to a stop and the lights completely went off. Everything felt so cold. 

"We can't be there yet," said Hermione, checking her watch." So why are we stopping?"

Then a ghastly, black figure appeared on the compartment door.
I felt like there will be no happiness again in this world. The door opened and a black, hooded figure came. It was a disgusting feeling. I felt like it was sucking my soul and then I heard someone screaming, a woman, my mother. She was screaming my name and then I passed out.

Y/N' s POV

Harry's head was on my lap, as he slowly became conscious. "Harry!" He slowly stood up.

"What was that?"

"A dementor" professor Lupin said. "One of the guards of Azkaban, he was checking the train for Sirius Black." he said as he gave a piece of chocolate to Harry "Eat, it will help"

"Now if you excuse me, I'll go and have a word with the driver. " he said opening the door. "Eat it will help' he said pointing at Harry's chocolate. If I was Harry I would have eaten it in a second.

"Did anyone of you pass out?"

"No, but we felt like there will be no happiness again" Ron said anxiously. 

"And I heard a woman screaming." 

"No one was screaming Harry." Hermione said. She was right.

We were now in the great hall. It felt so good to be back here! Professor Dumbledore stood up to give his speech. 

"Welcome!" said Dumbledore, "Welcome to another year at Hogwarts! I have a few things to say to you all, and as one of them is very serious, I think it best to get it out of the way before you become befuddled by our excellent feast.... As you will all be aware after their search of the Hogwarts Express, our school is presently playing host to some of the dementors of Azkaban, who are here on Ministry of Magic business." he gave a pause.

 "They are stationed at every entrance to the grounds," Dumbledore continued, "and while they are with us, I must make it plain that nobody is to leave school without permission. Dementors are not to be fooled by tricks or disguises — or even Invisibility Cloaks," he added blandly, and we glanced at each other.

 "It is not in the nature of a dementor to understand pleading or excuses. I therefore warn each and every one of you to give them no reason to harm you"
