Chapter 16

It's been probably two weeks ever since i left Tommy and Tubbo with Techno. He promised to take care of them. We made a plan, since Techno figured out Dream would go after me, because i'm a good fighter, but i feel like he was lying a bit. Then he said he'll protect Tommy and Tubbo, he'll tell Dream i ran away with them and then he might leave us alone. That's all we can hope for.

I'm just sitting on a tree, watching the foxes hunt rabbits, birds tweeting and the bugs flying around. The rope tied around my waist was starting to hurt, but i didn't wanted to tie it all again. My back was hurting, but that still didn't stop me from enjoying this view. The trees were slowly moving, leaves were rustling against eachother and the wind was blowing slightly making my hair move from time to time.

I closed my eyes and tried to relax a bit. Then i felt a rock hit my chest. I groaned and opened my eyes to see no one other than Sam looking up at me. ,, Hey, wake up, it's time to go to work, you didn't hear me yelling at you so i had to throw rocks at you." He said and laughed, his green eyes watching me. I chuckled and started to untie the rope around my waist. ,, Yes, sorry, i was too lost in thoughts i didn't notice you. " I said and looked down at him. Sam was my only friend at this time, he was there with me and helped me many times. I jumped down from the tree and landed right infront of Sam. He laughed and putted his arm around my shoulders and we started walking back to his place.

When we got back to his place he gave me breakfast and started talking about our plans for today. He knew about Dream and Techno, i told him everything. He knew it was a risk to keep me in his house since Dream already visited him and tried to find me. Because of that reason i was staying in the trees in the woods near his house. Every morning he would come pick me up and bring me back 'home'. It was fun with him, can't lie about that, but still... I missed Tommy and Tubbo... 

I sighed and looked at the breakfast infront of me. I started eating, and having a little chit chat with Sam from time to time. After we ate we started heading towards the river where we were supposed to go fishing.

We we're walking and talking until i noticed someone sitting near the river.

,, And that's why you should never-" Sam was talking until i slapped my hand on his mouth. He looked at me confused until i mentioned him to look infront of us. His eyes widened and he pushed me behind his back. My eyes trailed from Sam back to the river to find him already staring at us.

Dream was staring at us.

He started slowly walking towards us, i was luckily hidden behind Sam and the tree that was standing next to us. I gulped and glanced at Sam, he was looking at Dream. He gently pushed me behind the tree and started walking foward. They met halfway and stopped, they looked at eachother for a few minutes, without talking. ,, Hello Dream, what brings you here?" Sam asked, and crossed his arms. ,, Just walking around... Did you by any chance see-'" Dream started but was cutted of by Sam. ,, No i didn't, and i already said if i saw them i would tell you. " Sam scoffed and rolled his eyes. I could hear Dream laugh. ,, Okay okay, calm down, i was just asking." Dream said and putted his hands up in defence. ,, Okay, can you leave now? I'm gonna go fishing now if you won't mind. " Sam said clearly annoyed, and started walking towards the river, and took a quick glance at me. I gave him quick smile and hid back behind the tree, carefully looking at Dream. He was still looking at Sam, then turned around and started walking away.

After he was out of sight Sam made sure he was actually gone before nodding towards me. I walked up to him and he hugged me tightly. ,, Goddammit, i got scared for a moment. We really need to be more carefull, i think he might suspect something... " He mumbled and pulled away. He stared in my eyes for a while and started to move closer. ,, Sam? " I said quietly, still staring in his eyes. He blinked a few times before stepping away from me. ,, Oh- yeah- Uh... Sorry..." He said And looked away. I could see him blushing, which was kinda cute. I was myself blushing a bit. I laughed and petted his head. ,, It's alright, don't worry." I said and smiled at him. He smiled back and turned towards the river. ,, So... How about we'll start fishing now?" He asked and turned back to me. I nodded and started walking. Until i felt something drop on my head. I looked up to see some bird flying away. I turned back down to see some letter. I crouched and picked it up. When i opened it my eyes widened and i started shaking. Sam immediately noticed and ran up to me. ,, What's wrong? What happened? " He asked and i handed him the letter. When he read it his eyes widened too and he looked at me. He dropped the letter and immediately hugged me.

On the letter was written in blood ' Mom, they found us. Help'.
