Chapter 20

I was now taking care of Sam's shoulder, i grabbed rubbing alcohol and started rubbing it on his wound. He flinched or hissed from time to time, but still stayed still. After i was done with this i started bandaging it. ,, Okay, it's done. " I said and smiled at him. ,, Thanks. " He said and smiled back. I got up and walked over to the kitchen to throw out the pads covered in blood. When i walked in i saw Techno, he was sitting at the table drinking tea and eating potatoes. He glanced at me but didn't say anything and kept eating while staring at me. I sighed and throwed the pads into the trash can. ,, Is something wrong Techno? " I asked and raised my eyebrow at him. He took a sip of his drink before finally answering. ,, I thought we had a deal. " He said monotonly, but i still could feel the anger in it. I gulped, remembering what we had a deal about.

* Flashback lol *

I was sitting on a hill near our house waiting for Techno to come. He told me to meet him there, he needed to talk about something.

I closed my eyes, just listening to the sound of the leaves rubbing against eachother, the river, and the birds tweeting. After a few minutes i heard footsteps coming towards me, so i opened my eyes to see Techno walking. He stopped next to me and sitted down into the grass, watching the sky. After a little while he took a deep breath and started talking. ,, So... I need to make a deal with you. " He finally said, making me look at him. ,, About what? " I asked, now kinda curious. He was quiet for i few seconds before answering again. ,, It's... Uh... Just- just promise me to not come back if anything happens, okay? " He said and looked at me, he was clearly worried. I frowned and looked at him kinda confused. ,, What are you talking about? What could happen? " I asked now worriedly. What did he mean by that? ,, Look, if Dream ever gets us then- then just don't come back for us okay? That's all i want you to promise me. " He said and sighed. My brows furrowed and my eyes widened a bit. ,, What are you talking about?! Why- how- " I started mumbling nervously before Techno turned to face me and took my hand. I stopped and looked at him, he gave me a small smile and squeezed my hand. ,, Hey, don't worry... It's gonna be fine. Just in case anything happens you know. " He said and looked at the moon. I sighed before nodding. ,, Okay, i promise.. But you have to promise me to do anything to protect them. " I said and looked at him in his red eyes. ,, Well, i can't promise anything... " He said and laughed. I chuckled and glanced at the ground. Silence fell between us, before i felt him wrapping his arms around me and bringing me into a tight hug. I hugged him back, burrying my face into his chest. We stayed like this for a few minutes before pulling back, bit not too far because i then layed on my head on his chest.

Then we fell asleep.

I sighed and looked down at the floor. ,, I know... I'm sorry, i just- i couldn't-.... I couldn't live with myself if i didn't do anything. " I said sadly, looking out the window. I could hear Tommy's and Tubbo's laughter from the living room and from time to time even Sam's voice. I heard Techno chuckle, So i turned back to him to see him already looking at me. ,, Of course, as expected. " He said with a smile. I chuckled and took a bite out of a apple.

,, I'm gonna go see Tommy and Tubbo. " I told Techno and started walking away after he nodded. I walked into the living room to see Tommy screaming and jumping on the couch, Tubbo laying on the floor laughing his ass off, and Sam just watching them in dissapointment. I sighed and turned to Tommy. ,, Tommy. " I said coldy and glared at him, he stopped jumping and immediately got down from the couch. I rolled my eyes and looked at Tubbo to see him already standing up, he gave me a nervous smile. ,, Alright boys, go to bed. " I said and pointed to their room. They sighed and mumbled a quiet ' Okay mom ' before running off. I heard Sam chuckle, i glanced at him to see him walking towards me with a bright smile. I smiled back and looked at the couch that was messed up because of Tommy. ,, Tommy made quite a mess, sorry i couldn't stop him. " Sam said and petted my head. I laughed. ,, It's fine, i know he's sometimes a pain in the ass, but he's still a sweet boy. " I sighed and chuckled quietly. ,, I know, but i don't mind. " He said. He then yawned and laughed. ,, I'm kinda tired, so i'm gonna go to bed, Techno showed me a room where i could stay in. " He said and started walking away before turning to me.
