Desolation 7

Vi POV

I can't believe we have to deal with a simple robbery, those are barely any fun to deal so I was rather annoyed. Jinx was driving us to the location as she was humming a little tune, at least having her around is a little relaxing, even if she is a bit nuts. However, it was taking us bit to get there.

Vi: "Grr, how much longer till we get there?"

Jinx: "Now now, no need to be grumpy. We are almost there so just hang tight"

Vi: "I swear if there isn't anyone there then I will break something"

Jinx: "Hehe, I could give you something to break"

Did she Just? I could feel my face heating up as I looked to her. She had this smug smile and I could see the dust of pink on her cheeks.

Vi: "Was that really necessary? We are currently on duty so you shouldn't be making comments like that!"

Jinx: "Awe, I know you want to though babe, considering I did put the thought in your head"

This crazy woman is gonna be the end of me in so many ways. She then remarked how we were almost there. When we rounded the corner however, we were shocked to see the perpetrators all unconscious. The area itself looked like a fricking warzone. There was large burn marks in the ground, some small craters, and a hole in one of the nearby buildings. I then heard Jinx whistle in surprise.

Jinx: "Now that's what I call overkill"

I sadly had to agree. We both stepped out of the vehicle and looked around to assess everything. From the way I can picture it, it seems like these guys fought off a squad, a rival Zaun gang maybe? These guys look like they from the Gaia clan so it would make sense. I look over to see Jinx poking a buff looking guy with a stick.

Vi: "Jinx, stop messing around, we need to bring these guys in for interrogation"

Jinx: "Got it, I'll call some guys to help bring them in"

She went to the car and called some guys that were listening in. While she did that, I looked over their injuries whilst cuffing them up. The scrawny guy got a straight shot to forehead by something, The guy I'm guessing to be the get away driver was severely burned, the guy with a mask had a burn mark on his neck, and the big fella had a massive burn mark on his stomach. I don't think I know anyone from Zaun that could inflict such damage.

After a few minutes some officers had arrived to help take these guys in. We might be able to figure out what happened here, any bit of info helps. Jinx and I got into our car before she drove to the precinct.

Time skip 

I was standing in the observation room with Caitlyn as we both looked into the interrogation room through the one-way glass. The Masked guy, who we now know as Holden was sitting in the chair, pale as a ghost, probably from what we experienced.

Caitlyn: "What are your thoughts Vi?"

Vi: "From what I could gather at first glance, probably a rival gang from Zaun sabotaged their operation. What bothers me though is why they didn't take the cash after they finished with them. It honestly makes no sense"

Caitlyn: "The Gaia clan has had some serious competition in the past few years, so we don't know who exactly targeted them. We already have some officers interrogating the other, I want you to take this one"

I give her a nod before leaving the observation room. I let out a long sigh before entering the room, Holden then looked toward me with fear in his eyes, this might be easy. I walk over to the table across from him before staring him down.
