PART 3: SET SAIL

We packed up the ship with supplies, the crew went on board the ship Sally took the wheel and we set off on our adventure. Smith rustled up some stew for the crew. It was a long journey so we started sharing stories, I was curious on how Skully got his name so I asked him. He was hesitant at first but after a few seconds he opened up. "I got the name Skully from my previous captain, we didn't have enough Cannon balls for the cannons so I made a suggestion that we used the skulls from our enemies" I froze, I didn't know what to say but to save us from an awkward silence Sally began to shout "storms ahead" everyone looked over the ship and what we saw was horrific, unsurvivable, impossible.
I shouted at the crew "ALL HANDS ON DECK". Everyone rushed to their positions and did their job. Tom, Mathew and Skully started to raise the sails however Sally bellowed at them "lower those sails we are going through them". There was a split second of silence then the sails were lowered, we were racing towards the storm. As we entered the strom I saw unimaginable things from waternados all the way too mermaids. We were manhandled by the waves our bodies slamming against the sides of the ship with even some of the crew going over board. As I watched someone fall into the water he was screaming for help then silence... he was pulled under the water with only his head coming back up seconds later. The crew started to panic but Sally remained vigilant and calm. She was doing her best fighting against the ocean.
Buck shouted at me "WHAT HAVE YOU DRAGGED ME INTO!" I ignored him for now as I had bigger things to deal with. As I was tying down some rope I saw a large shadow in the ocean under the boat, I yelled "THERE IS SOMETHING UNDER THE SHIP" then a thud. I sprinted down and saw holes in the ship spuing water. "SKULLY GET DOWN HERE AND HELP ME" Skully came down and we began to block any hole we saw. The boat was split into two wars but it was the same battle. As me and Skully was fighting the integrity of the boat, the rest of the crew was fighting the horrors above.
As I was fixing one of the holes I saw a red glowing eye staring right at me, this was my first encounter with him. I fell backwards into some barrels and ran up on deck. When I reached the top I saw horrifying images, dead crewmates, bloody water and a damaged ship. The only remaining crew was me, Buck, Sally, Skully and 5 others.
