Rylie's POV
As I walked out to the truck after 8th period, Cole was leaning against the side of his truck and was talking to who looked like Jackson Thomas, he has stage 4 lymphoma, we are all doing the best we can do to support him right now. I walked over said hi to Jackson, and hopped in the truck. I usually would have had a conversation with them, but I just wasn't feeling right. Cole got into the car and kissed the side of my neck, saying hello...
I wrinkled my nose and smiled, as he started the truck, he just looked at me. I stared out the window.
"Are you okay?" Cole asked.
"I don't know I'm just not feeling so great... Maybe I'm coming down with something." I said.
"Maybe," he said as we pulled into the garage.
~~~~~~~~Later that Evening~~~~~~
Cole's POV
*knocking on the door*
"Hey man," I greeted Scott at the door. We walked through the kitchen and sat down in the living room. Nearly 5 minutes later, Josh walked in and sat down.
"What up?" Josh said.
"Nothing," I said.
"Chilling," said Scott.
"What do you guys want to eat? I have appetizers, buffalo wings?" Rylie yelled from the kitchen.
"Sure," I said.
I could see Carson's car pull in the driveway, Rylie ran to the door, opened it, then proceeded to run to Carson's car and hug her. I spotted some type of food in Carson's hand, my stomach growled as I heard the timer in the kitchen. I walked into the room, and pulled the food out of the oven.
Rylie's POV
As I walked back into the kitchen, I smelt the buffalo wings, but for some reason a sense of nausea came over me. I usually loved buffalo wings but now just the scent of them made me sick to my stomach. I turned to walk out of the kitchen, and I felt myself getting lightheaded, as I ran to the bathroom Carson followed close behind sensing something was wrong. I walked through the bathroom and sat on the ground against the wall. Carson walked in and just looked me up and down for a moment,
"You look pale, Ry, are you feeling alright?" She questioned.
"No not really, but I will be fine I'm sure it will pass," I responded confidently.
As I got up from the ground I walked into my bedroom and laid in my bed until I drifted off to sleep at only 7:45.
