Chapter 4

Cole's POV
For a few minutes I had no clue what was going on, I was waving goodbye to the guys and I noticed Rylie's recent absence from the party. I walked to the bedroom, to see her passed out in the fetal position on the bed: she was curled up clenching her stomach as if she were in pain. I rolled the sheets back and climbed into bed, I wrapped my arms around her and she winced as she awoke. She moaned as she clenched her side,
"How can I help you Cole," she said with quite a snotty attitude.

"I'm sorry babe, just trying to get comfy with you."

"I'm not in the mood tonight Cole, just give me some space. Go sleep in the guest room or something."

I picked myself off the bed and strolled into the guest room, flopping over into the plush mattress.

Rylie's POV
I woke up to cold sweats and nausea yet again, leaned over in the bathroom coughing and sniffling.
I picked myself off the floor and into the shower and took a cold shower to refresh myself. As I got dressed and woke Cole to go to the store with me.
"Come on Cole!" I yelled coughing afterward.

"Ok Rylie go start the car I will be there in 30 seconds!" He yelled from the bathroom.
I sat in the passengers seat and waited for Cole to come hobbling out of the house.

As we walked into the store, Cole held my hand as I leaned into his shoulder. I headed down the medication isle, Cole close behind. I grabbed some cough syrup and some nasal spray. Cole was standing at the end of the isle staring at the cookies. I rolled my eyes told him to grab them and let's go. His face lit up as he grabbed a box of chocolate chip cookies and walked with me to the register.

We started in the self checkout line scanning each product. Once we were done I sent Cole to go bag our few items, as I scanned my credit card and paid for the items.

Within the next few days I began to feel much back to strength, by my 4th day I was back to full strength and feeling fully functional.
