Note: this chapter's setting will start with the first Iron man movie. For my character, I'm not going to put up an image of what Hope would look like and I'm just going to have all of you just imagine what Hope would look like but here is a character description. She has blue eyes, long wavy dark brown hair, and her height is 5'3.
As each year goes by, Tony watched Hope grow every day; there were times where he just hated it. He wished that she would stay little forever, but then again, nothing lasts forever. While Hope was growing up, there were a lot of things that happened throughout the years. She only went to public school for a short amount of time because not only was she having a hard time making friends, but she didn't get along with any of the students at the school. She would end up getting into lots of fights because she was being bullied for being different from the other students her age so she would try to defend herself, which got her into trouble. This was one of the reasons Tony had decided that she would be homeschooled. He hired some professional private teachers so that they could teach her from home.
Everyone had a huge impact on Hope's life. Rhodey was able to teach her more about the military and its structures. He and Happy were able to teach Hope some fighting techniques so that she would learn how to defend herself from any danger.
Pepper was always there for Hope whenever she needed some advice or to answer any questions she didn't understand. Even though Hope knew that Pepper wasn't her mother, she saw her as a mother figure in her life. She never really cared to ask who her actual mother was since Tony told her that her mother left when she was a baby. Tony told her this lie because he didn't want her to know the truth, since he felt like she wasn't ready to know yet.
Throughout the years, Tony was able to notice that Hope developed more powers and was able to figure out what they were. So far he found out she can conjure certain objects through smoke manipulation because there was a time when Tony lost one of the tools that he needed to fix one of his cars. Hope accidentally conjured it onto her hand and it appeared from the smoke she created. She can also use the smoke as extendable appendages to grab things from long distances. This was discovered by Happy and Rhodey when they almost got into a physical fight with each other; Hope accidentally used this to prevent them from fighting. Rhodey found out she had super strength because while he was training her, he went in full force to punch her but then she caught his fist with a fast reflex and then pushed him off the fighting ring with one hand, which made him land against the wall and onto the floor.
Tony also found out she had the power to use fire manipulation. This means she can create, shape, manipulate fire and she can absorb any type of flame without getting hurt, which explains the situation from her first birthday. This power also made her fireproof and immune to the heat. Tony discovered that Hope's flames came in two different colors and there was a difference between them based on Hope's emotions. Like when Hope was in a calm mood, her flames would be blue, which means that they were not harmful, can be touchable, but would be very warm. But when Hope gets angry, she can produce red flames, which would make it dangerously hot, and that can cause serious damage. But since her fire powers are in tune with her emotions, she has a hard time controlling her ability. There was one incident where she got so angry that she accidentally hurt her dad in the process. Even though Tony was okay, Hope felt so guilty and scared that she asked her dad if he could make her something that would help her manage her powers so she wouldn't get out of control again. So Tony was able to make a bracelet out of his tech, which was able to help Hope contain her powers, but she would have to get him to keep updating it because the stronger her powers got, the harder time the bracelet would have to contain them.
