Right person, finally the right time, Natasha thought to herself, unable to suppress a grin as she watched Wanda unpack her belongings. It had been six months since the wedding, and the pair had been going steady. Six months of pure bliss, so romantic and fulfilling it almost felt like a dream. But the way Wanda held her, looked at her with such warmth, assured Natasha this was real.

"You gonna help me unpack, or are you just gonna stand there looking pretty?" Wanda asked, nearly tripping over all her cardboard boxes.

"Can't I do both?"

Wanda crossed the room to kiss Natasha's forehead. "I think you would look radiant if you helped me get the love seat up the stairs."

Natasha agreed, chuckling. As the two clambered down the stairs, Natasha thought aloud, "I can't believe this is real."

"Are you being melancholy and sappy just to get out of moving my stuff?"

"No," Natasha replied, taking Wanda's hand. "But is it working?"

"Maybe." Wanda stopped walking to kiss Natasha again. She had taken little things like this for granted the first time around, so every look, every touch, every kiss, was savored now. "I almost can't believe it either."

"I'm so glad I went to that wedding."

"I'm so glad I went home with you."

"Do you feel at home with me? We're not rushing into moving in together, are we?"

Shaking her head, Wanda brushed back a stray hair of Natasha's. "You are home, Nat. You always were, really."

"You mean that?"

"I do. I feel like I've loved you forever."

"I love you so much, Wanda. I never stopped loving you."

Author's Note- thanks for reading, everyone. I had a lot of fun with this. Shorter chapters was less pressure, and though they were short I hope they were still meaningful.

I especially had a lot of fun writing the flashbacks- just little stolen moments of a romance now forgotten. I hope you enjoyed. 💛
