"Grab my hand!!" Daniel shouted as he ran up on Antonio holding his left hand out. His other hand was holding onto the elven girl's hand, who was running behind him, holding her sister's bloody dagger in her hand.

Antonio quickly held his arm out at Daniel, who grabbed him by the wrist and the three of them ran as fast as they could. Though, Sir Gentrick, The Black Knight, was not far behind and was quickly gaining on them.

"Antonio!! I see you, boy!" Gentrick roared  as he caught sight of the elven child.

"Don't slow down!" Daniel shouted feeling Antonio dragging behind, looking at The Black Knight.

"We can't run forever, he's gaining ground." The girl spoke.

Daniel stayed quiet as he thought about what to do. I can't turn and fight... Even if I was brave enough, there's no way I'm strong enough. Courage can only get you so far. What do I do? Think, Daniel, think!

It was then he turned a corner and stopped  with surprise. His immediate reaction was to turn around and duck, using his arms to get the girl and Antonio to do the same.

As they did this, Zephron jumped over them, his bow ready. He flew through the air around the corner, aiming his bow carefully, and shot his arrow at full power once Gentrick was centered in his laser-accurate vision.

However, Gentrick quickly stopped and caught the arrow as it flew beside his head.

"Pathetic. This twig was never bound to hit." He said as he looked at the arrow head, smirking. His smirk didn't last long however, as the tip of the arrow exploded into a large charcoal infused smoke cloud and charcoal powder spattered into Gentrick's open eyes.

"Agh! Damn you!!" He said stepping back in pain, rubbing his eyes fiercely. It was then that Christian ran up to him and tackled him to the ground with his legs. When they hit the ground, Gentrick was on his back with Christian on top of him, pinning his arms down at the shoulders with his knees. Christian raised a large knife he had in his hand above his head, clenched it in both fists and, with all of his might, stabbed the knife down at Gentrick's charcoal covered face.

An impressive attempt, alas, the Black Knight would not be killed so easily. Gentrick was too strong for Christian. He quickly lifted his arms and grabbed the knife by the blade in one hand and used the other to shove Christian off of him with force enough for him to hit the ground next to Zephron.

"Did you do it?" Zephron asked.

"No, he was stronger than I thought he'd be." Christian said in a slightly strained voice as he stood up.

"Well it was worth a shot." Zephron responded clenching his side as his ribs were still broken and piercing his lung. He then turned to Daniel, Antonio, and the elven girl. "Let's go while the smoke screen is still up. Follow me."

Quite a few blocks away, Thomas was face to face with an angry, yet injured, Jackson Slade, the Mad Executioner. Thomas had blood running down his face, he still couldn't feel one leg, and he didn't have a weapon, but he still stood his ground, calm and collected. He brought his fists up and took guard, like a boxer in the ring.

Jackson's chest heaved with every breath before he charged Thomas. He swung furiously, with all of his might. Thomas ducked and dodged to the left and proceeded to bring up his fist into Jackson's ribs.

Jackson quickly responded by bringing his elbow back. However, Thomas dropped to the ground, dodging the attack and, like a horse or mule, kicked back at Jackson's leg, causing the behemoth to drop to his knee. Twisting on his hands like a skilled acrobat, Thomas twisted around brought heel of his foot to Jackson's face.
