I sat down and pulled out my phone. I looked up Surenna Lasfur on Facebook because she probably has it.
The first one. She looked pretty much the same except her hair is now blonde and she wears a lot more makeup.
I checked where she lived. She still lived in Cape side. I needed to see her. Now.
I ran back to my apartment. Bronwynns car was gone. Perfect timing. I went inside my apartment and grabbed my keys and changed into leggings & a loose Adidas t-shirt & my combat boots then I went to my car. I turned it on and drove out.
She was on the other end of town which would only take about 10-15 minutes.
Of course I hit every red light on the way. Im bad luck. I parked on the road in front of the house. It wasn't like a super rich house. But it wasn't a really poor house either. It was a normal house I guess. Beige Brick walls. A big window in the front along with other smaller windows. It was decent actually.
I got out of my car and started panicking.
Oh my god. I haven't seen my sister in a really lone time. Shes probably going to judge me like everyone else.
I finally knocked on the door. Surenna.
"Sam?" She said with a shocked look on her face. And then she hugged me.
"Oh gosh. Look at how skinny you are! Sam why do you do this to yourself?" Then she looked at my wrist. Fuck. I didn't think this outfit through. "Sam.." I still haven't talked.
"Do you want to come in?"
"S-sure.." Why am I stuttering? She's my sister for fuck sakes.
The inside of the house was ten times better than the outside. It had dark hardwood floors. Which looked pretty good with her white furniture. "Um. Can I ask you a question?"
"Go for it hun."
"Why did you move out..? You knew mom was dying.. You left me.."
She sighed. "I honestly didn't think she would die that soon.." She teared up. "I promise you if I knew mom would get the bad I would've stayed. I loved you. I still do. I know I should've at least took you with me after mom died. But I didn't think you would forgive me.."
"Surenna. I've went through hell after you left. You're the one that kept me sane. Im not blaming any of it on you. I just want to kn-" I couldn't even talk I was crying again. She got up and hugged me. "Its okay butterfly.." She said it. The word that calmed me down every time. But this time it made me cry more. How I have this many tears. I don't know but I wish they would go away. "I love you Sam.. Please. You can't hurt yourself anymore. You promise.?"
"I can't keep promises. I broke the same promise with my best friend and My boyfriend."
"You have a boyfriend and you didn't tell me?" She started laughing a little to brighten up the mood. "Yeah his names Kian"
"Is he cute?"
"He's more than cute. He's perfect."
"Do you have a picture?"
I unlocked my phone and found a picture taken before the party a couple weeks ago. He had his arm around my waist and he was smiling at the camera while I was smiling up at him.
"You guys look Perfect for each other.."
"Thanks" I smiled
"So where do you live now?"
"I live in a apartment with Bronwynn"
"Your still friends with Bronwynn!?"
"Yeah"
"Friendship goals"
I laughed. "I have to call Bronwynn by the way. something happened this morning an I need to talk I her. Is that okay..?"
"Yeah of course i'll make you some tea?"
"Yeah that would be great."
I dialled Bronwynns number.
"Sam!?"
"Hey.."
"HOW COULD YOY DO THIS WE'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU FOR LIKE EVER."
"Sorry.. I had to get out. But um. Im with Surenna.."
"You found Surenna!?"
"Yeah"
"Oh my. How she doing?"
"Well I'd say she's pretty successful."
"That's cool"
I heard Surenna come back.
"I'll talk to you later okay?"
"Yeah. Say hi to Surenna for me!"
"Okay bye!"
Surenna put my tea in front of me. I smelled it. Peppermint. She remembered it was my favourite.
"Bronwynn says hi"
"Well next time you talk to her tell her I said hi back"
"Aha okay.."
"Hey do you wanna spend the night? Cause obviously we have a lot to catch up on"
"Yeah sure! Can I go to my place to get some stuff?"
"Sure! I'll come"
...
We got to my place and went inside. Bronwynn was on the couch. "Hey."
Then Surenna walked in.
"Surenna! You have blonde hair!"
"Bronwynn! You have purple hair!"
The Bronwynn got up and hugged Surenna. They talked while I got my stuff.
"Yo Bronwynn I'm staying at Surennas house"
"Awh I'm gonna be alone"
"You can come if you want"
"Really?"
"Yeah! You're like a sister we need to catch up too!"
"Thanks! I just need to get my stuff"
Bronwynn took 10 minutes to get her stuff ready.
"You literally need Pajamas and clothes what took you so long?"
"I didn't know what clothes to wear tomorrow and I couldn't find my mascara."
"Oh my.."
...
When we got back to Surennas there was a guy lounging on the couch. I whispered to Surenna. "Who's that?"
"That's my boyfriend, Marcus."
He looked at Surenna. "What's for dinner and who are these people"
Surenna looked at me. "He's usually more polite I swear."
"Make yourself something. And this is my sister Sam and her friend Bronwynn"
"Wait. You have a sister?"
"Yeah.. I've told you that before."
"No, I don't think you have"
"Whatever"
Then I heard a bark.
"God dammit Marcus. Did you lock the damn dog in the basement again!"
"He ate my chips!"
She walked over to what I'm guessing was the basement. Opened the door and then a German shepherd puppy came over to me with its tongue hanging out of its mouth. "His names Shredder"
"Awh! He's so cute!" Bronwynn said as she sat down to pet him.
"Would you guys like a tour?"
"Sure" I replied.

After the tour Marcus told us he order pizza.
The pizza got there minutes after.
I was sitting there awkwardly not having any. "Sam can you please eat?"
"I'm not hungry"
"Sam.."
I had one piece because I couldn't let down my sister that I haven't seen in awhile.
I could feel the nasty, greasy shit in my stomach and the feeling I was going to throw it up. My body mocking me in how I was going to be fat.
"Do you want to watch a movie?"
Surenna asked.
"Sure!" I replied
"Bronwynn?"
"Yaass"
...
After we watched the movie This is 40, we were all tired and went to bed. Bronwynn and I got the guest room. There was a closet to the left as soon as you walked in. A tv facing towards the left and the bottom of the bed that was nearly touching the tv stand. As well as a body mirror beside the bed. It was actually a nice room.
I went to the bathroom to get changed. I took off y clothes and then looked in the mirror. Looking fat and disgusting. I quickly put on my clothes so I wouldn't have to look at myself anymore.
Bronwynn was already changed when I walked in. "Which side of the bed do you want?"
"The wall!" I replied as I jumped on the queen sized bed. It was extremely comfortable. Sorta like a hotel bed.
Hotel.
Kian.
Perfection.
Sleep.
