~ Third Pov.

Never in his life had Seungmin felt so uncomfortable as the day he had to sit at a table with his fake boyfriend and his mother, who still thought the two were a real couple.

There was a real awkward silence, at least that's how Seungmin felt, while Minho was having his fun. Actually, he wasn't the type to eat with any families, but it was more than amusing for him to see Seungmin's exasperated expression.
"You never told me how you actually met." Ms. Kim interrupted the silence and looked with a smile at Minho and her son who were busy with their meal.

Immediately the brown haired one noticed panic spreading through him, after all he had no idea what he was going to tell his mother, because in reality there had never been any dating or anything like that between him and Minho.

"Well..." as the older began to speak a load fell off Seungmin's mind for a brief moment, as Minho wanted to do the talking and he definitely had a better plan than him. After all, the black haired one was the reason for all this and for them ending up in such a situation.
"We actually knew each other from school. My best friend Felix is dating his best friend and that's how we became aware of each other." Minho began to tell, even adding a part of truth to the story.
"Through that we saw each other from time to time at parties and at some point I started to develop some interest in him..." Minho's gaze fell on Seungmin for a moment while his lips curled into a sweet smile.

The brown-haired boy felt his heart stop for a moment at that smile, but tried to maintain his composure.

Ms. Kim had a bright smile on her face the entire time and listened intently to Minho's story.

"Well, then I spotted him at a café where he used to go study and just approached him there. One thing led to another and I tried everything to win her son's heart." Minho's smile grew as he continued to tell the not-quite-fictional story, glancing now and then at Seungmin, who was trying to hide the blush on his face.

"You're a real romantic." smirked Seungmin's mother, who turned her gaze to her son a short time later.
"I see you're really lucky. You don't find a man like that in every dynasty." Ms. Kim patted her son's hand, who had to stifle an eye roll.

Not only was he more uncomfortable with this whole situation, but it also annoyed him immensely. He just couldn't believe how Minho could tell all this and then also sound like it was all the pure truth.

"Seungmin is really a kind-hearted person. He always puts the needs of others above his own and always looks out for others first. I really admire that about him." again Minho's eyes found their way to Seungmin's, widening at Minho's words.

Because no matter how hard the younger tried to believe that the black-haired one didn't mean those words, they just sounded far too serious and real that they couldn't have been.

By now, Seungmin had given up trying to hide his embarrassment and had been smiling for a long time, which he actually meant.

Ms. Kim, observing the brief moment of sharing between the two boys, couldn't help but smile. She felt exactly the relaxed and crackling atmosphere that settled over the two of them.

"I hope you will take good care of my son." Ms. Kim looked with a smile at Minho, who looked over at her for a moment, perplexed.

But right at the same moment, he returned her smile and nodded.
