~ Third Pov.

Jeongin stood on the last steps of the stairs under the roof of the entrance and looked up at the sky. The brilliant blue was condensed by dense and black clouds that didn't not allow any ray of sunlight to pass through, turning the otherwise always bright world into a dull tone.

The rain was heavy, driven by the wind that whistled through the trees and made the leaves dance.

With a sigh, the black-haired boy looked down at the asphalt in which he could already see himself reflected through the layer of water. The falling drops made the small puddles move.

Normally Jeongin always had an umbrella with him, except today of course. The boy had left his umbrella in his room when he had cleaned out his backpack and of course didn't put it back.

Jeongin cursed to himself, unable to believe how stupid he was. His eyes found their way back to the gray sky, soft thunder could be heard in the distance and the melodic sound of the rain lightened the silence around him.

But actually he was quite happy about it. After all, he didn't not have to show up directly at home where only trouble would be waiting for him. For a long time, there was a thick air between his parents, was always greeted with a loud argument when he came home and even at night the quarrel left him no peace.

"What are you still doing here?"

Jeongin winced when he heard a familiar deep voice behind him and hastily turned around only to look into Chan's questioning face.

Immediately the younger's heartbeat quickened, could curse himself for his feelings. But how could he silence his heart when Chan was so handsome?

The way his brown light curly hair hung in his face, the way his muscles were clearly marked by the slightly tighter black shirt, and the way he always got those little dimples when he smiled.

It was just too much for Jeongin's heart.

"Uh-uh..." the black haired one started to stutter became nervous under the older one's gaze.
"I forgot my umbrella..." muttered Jeongin, looking down at the ground and could feel his cheeks heating up.

Chan started smirking could see quite clearly the blush on the younger's cheeks.

"If you want, I can drive you home." Chan suggested and Jeongin's head lap up.
"I-it's all right. I'll just wait until it stops." The younger tried to talk his way out but to no avail. Chan was already fishing his car keys out of his jacket, and looked at the younger one, waiting
"I'm definitely not going to leave you standing here. You'll catch cold." Admonished the brown-haired one talked to the younger one, not allowing any backtalk.

Jeongin's head sank to the floor started chewing on his lower lip. He didn't want to go home. He didn't want to be subjected to those stupid arguments of his parents again.

"Innie?" Chan took a step toward the younger one, realizing something was wrong.
"Is everything okay?"

"Can I go to your place? I don't want to go home yet..." Jeongin's words came out more like a whisper, yet Chan could understand his words and that was despite the rain raging around them.

Somewhat confused, Chan's eyebrows drew together, his pupils slightly dilated.

"I-it's okay if not!" Jeongin became nervous as the elder said nothing and waved his hands around in panic.
