Chapter 14: Uh Oh.

Lumine looks at Xiao's angry face understanding what was going on. "Uh, Xiao. Do you mind if I talk to Albedo for a little bit?"
Xiao attempts to respond to her question but it comes out more of a growl. "What?"
"I guess."
Lumine nods her head. "Keep an eye on the girls while I'm gone."
Lumine runs off to look for Albedo. She runs straight to the crafting stand knowing he will be there. "Albedo!"
He turns hearing the familiar voice. "Lumine?"
He looks at the girl running towards him. "Hi, how is your research going?"
Albedo looks at the nervous girl. "It's going good-wait are you sure you should be here?"
"What do you mean?"
"Won't the guy with green hair be upset?"
"Oh, you mean Xiao? Yeah, he will probably be upset but I did ask if I could talk to you and he said it was fine. And if I'm being honest I wanted to make sure you weren't mad at me."
"Why would I be mad at you?"
"Well after what happened at the Windbloom Festival I was scared you were mad at me."
Lumine looks away shyly. "I'm not mad at you."
"Sure I'm a little disappointed. But who wouldn't be?"
Albedo steps forward and hugs Lumine. "I want to be your friend, but that won't stop me from liking you. I won't get in the way of you and Xiao. Who knows maybe there will be a wedding to go to in the future!"
There's that word again "Wedding" "Marriage." Lumine has no explanation for why this made her feel embarrassed and awkward. Lumine's face turns bright red. Lumine hears someone running behind her. "Girlie!"
Lumine's eyes shrink and she jumps around to face Childe and draws her sword. She points her sword at him with anger in her eyes. "Don't step any closer."
"Girlie, why the cold shoulder?"
"What do you mean!?"
"You almost killed my boyfriend! And you think I still want to see you!?"
"G-Girlie I-"
"I don't care what the hell you have to say! Get out of here before I make you."
Childe stands still and doesn't move at all. Albedo draws his sword and stands next to Lumine. "Your gonna want to do as she says."
Childe laughs. "Well, this will be fun."
Before Childe can draw his water blade Albedo steps forward and hooks his leg to trip him. Lumine slashes at him but Childe ducks in time causing Lumine to cut off some of his hair. Albedo lifts up his leg that was hooked around Childe's tripping him. Lumine quickly steps on him and points her sword at Childe. Albedo points his sword at Childe along with Lumine. "Nice view Lumine."
She looks at his sly smile and realizes he was looking up he dress. She turns bright red and fixes her dress so he can't see anything. "So that's why you're still single."
Lumine looks at Albedo shocked. "If you think looking up a girl's dress is gonna make her like you, you better prepare for a lonely life."
Lumine steps to the side and Albedo does the same. Childe jumps up and draws his water blades. "Shouldn't have dropped your guard girlie-"
"So what do you want your punishment to be?"
Lumine steps back. "Xiao!?"
It was like she blinked and Xiao had appeared with Childe pinned against the wall. "Ideally your punishment would be death, but Lumine wouldn't be too happy about that."
"I'll let you off this time. But if you ever try to touch her again you better have your funeral planned."
Xiao lets go of Childe and lets him run off. Xiao's attention immediately turns to Lumine. He grabs her hands and makes sure she's okay. Lumine! Are you hurt!? Did he hurt you!? Are you-"
"I'm okay! Albedo helped me and I didn't get hit once."
Xiao looks at Albedo who had a nervous smile on his face. Lumine hugs Xiao and whispers something to Xiao. "He wants to be my friend and he has chosen to support me. He actually stood up for me."
Xiao sighs and whispers something back. "I will try to be nicer but what did he do to stand up for you?"
"W-Well Childe saw u-up-"
"Do you want me to tell him?" 
Lumine jumps, she had thought she was whispering too quietly for him to hear. "I-I yes p-please."
"Childe saw up her skirt and commented on it embarrassing her."
Lumine takes a deep breath. "And Albedo got him back for doing that."
Xiao looks at Albedo but not with anger in his eyes but with thankfulness. "Klee put Jumpty Dumpty back in your backpack."
"Awe man!"
Lumine turns her head to look at Klee who was holding a bomb and Qiqi who was chasing after Klee. Klee puts Jumpty Dumpty back in her bag, then runs over to Albedo. And whispers loudly to Albedo. "Albedooooo."
"Lumine doesn't like youuuu."
Albedo smiles and giggles. "I know."
"Okayyyyyy."
"Oh hey, Lumine?"
Lumine looks at Albedo. "Yeah?"
"Venti wanted me to tell you to meet him at Mt. Tianheng."
"Oh, he did?"
"It's getting late so I better go meet him there now."
Xiao releases Lumine so that she can run off to Mt. Tianheng. "Can you guys watch the girls while I'm gone?"
"Sure."
"Mhm."

"Venti!"
"Ahoy there traveler!~"
"How have you been doing Lumine?"
"I have been great-"
Lumine pauses for a second. "Well, one thing was brought up that made me a little nervous."
"Hmm? And what was that?"
Lumine sits down next to Venti. "Marriage."
"Well, Lumine. You still have a long amount of time to think about that. And until then..."
Venti holds up a bottle of half-drunken Dandelion Wine and shakes it. It's at this point Lumine realizes the tons of bottles of Dandelion Wine. Lumine picks up a bottle and opens it. "Cheers!"
Lumine drinks about 5 bottles before she heads home with her drunken'd mind. Before she heads home she stops by a certain shop that is not meant for young kids. She picks up and outfit tries it on before checking out. She drops a bag of mora she had stolen from Childe during the fight and walks out with her new outfit in a bag. She walks into her apartment and changes into her outfit and drinks another bottle while she waits for Xiao.
