Tacite

Prologue

A tall figure strode to a door from an old, musty building. His honey colored eyes glinted in the dim room as his expression was dark. His steps hit loudly against the cold concrete floor. The room echoed the steps, making the wandering eyes gaze at this giant disturbing the still air.

The said giant moved his hand towards the shining door handle, which reflected the dark atmosphere behind. A short woman glared behind the taller one. "How could you just leave us?! We were there for your family, we were like family! But just as your siblings you're leaving us too! Your father had big plans for you, if you leave you're going to throw away everything he built for you," she remarked standing tall and pointing an accusing finger towards him.

The eyes looked at the other country, the air starting to be suffocating, to see his next move. The said country's hand froze a few inches from the doorknob. He looked down as he slowly snarled, "I no longer want to be part of whatever my father had planned. Times have changed and I want... no I will move on. Good day comrades." The country then clutched the doorknob and opened the door. The outside marked the new chapter in his long life, a chapter filled with much unknown darkness.

When the tall country left the once quiet eyes looked at one another whispering among themselves. The dusty air swirled as everyone tried to process what happened and what would be their next move. The short lady glared at the eyes from the dark, quickly scaring the whispers away. Her small body shaking in rage, her teeth clenched, as she thought of her next move.

"This is all of their fault...." She finally announced, all the eyes knew who she was referring to, "well if he's gonna run to them... we'll make sure that they'll have a reason to leave him. A reason to push him away too, and maybe just maybe, Russia will come crawling back." The hidden eyes all looked expectantly at the short country. She smiled maliciously, before looking at her people, "I got just the plan to make them both suffer."
