America paced back and forth along his living room. Their brows furrowed in concern to his brother. They couldn't stay still in one place, if they do they would tap their dark shoes on the floor. The American just couldn't shake off the feeling that something's wrong.

Russia had tried to calm the other nation down, offering them a coffee, a snack, TV, or anything else that may sooth the obvious worried country. None of it work as America continues to be worried muttering worst case scenarios under their breath. Russia doesn't like seeing them like this and hates it more that he can't help them either.

"What if he got into an accident-" America said halting suddenly and facing Russia.

"I'm sure he didn't," the Russian added, trying to ease the other's worried mind, "plus if he were to be in an accident he would be fine, we are nations and don't get as easily as hurt as regular humans."

"That's the thing Rus," the stripped country looked to the side, "we don't get hurt as easily but we can still get hurt!"

Russia sighed deeply, feeling bad for being unable to calm down the other country. He tried to think of anything to calm them down. As he tried to ponder a loud sound came from the hallway. It was the American's phone.

America didn't hesitate rushing to the phone, answering it with trembling fingers. "Canada! You're alright! You're—" they stopped talking halfway. The joy and relief that was plastered on the country vanished as quickly as it came.

Russia looked at America worriedly, as the American held the phone silent. He couldn't make out what the other side of the line was saying. Whatever it is, was not good.

The call soon ended and America stood in his place silently. His expression seemed lost and as if his mind was somewhere else. He stood motionless.

"America?," Russia hesitantly walked up to the other.

He was met with silence. So Russia put a gentle hand on America's shoulder as an attempt to bring him back to reality.

America finally snaps out of his trance and falls to the floor. His body erupted into sobs, "C-Canada..! He's N-not... He's b-being held captive!"
