In a sky blue colored room, laid two countries in a King's size bed. They were both cuddled together, feeling the warmth and safety in their hugs. The taller of the two finally decided to get out of bed making the other groan in annoyance. "We have to get up Америка," said the tricolored country. The other sticked their tounge out and hid underneath the sheets.

The taller one rolled it's eyes and stood up. He the proceeds to walk on the other side of the bed and nudges the hidden country. Said country did not budge nor made a sound. "Get up, we have things to do," the other country stated, having an unamused look. The other continued to stay underneath the bundle of blankets.

The tall country's eyes then glinted slightly of mischief. He smiled as he planned to do something towards the lazy country below him. He swiftly picked the shorter country by their ankle, making them squeak in surprised. Now having their attention, the shorter one looked up from the safety and warmth of the covers, "Russ you better not do it-," they said with slight fear.

The other seemed to have thought about it before rudely dragging the other out of the room by their ankle. They yelled in protest, demanding to be let go. But Russ, better known as Russia, did not listen and continued to drag them, reaching to the living room. Once there they abruptly, placed the striped country on the couch. The said country glared at Russia. "Ow- why are you so cold when getting me out of bed!" they exclaimed, frowning. The other just rolled his eyes, "you wouldn't get up America, it was my last resort," he responded.

America continued to pout and looked away, folding his arms. Russia sighed and continued stand in front of the "upset" country. "America you can't be mad at me forever," Russia stated, looking down at the other. America grumbled, "but I can try...."

Russia raised a brow while looking at America before saying, "guess you won't be needing any cuddles for this week." This cought the attention of the smaller country, making them get off the couch before they pleaded, "Russ no!!! Please forgive me! I can't go on without cuddles!" Russia tried to not laugh at the desperate look America had. "Hmmm..... Maybe," Russia supposed. America was staring at him with round eyes, giving him the best sad puppy dog eyes he could muster. Russia finally gave in, "fine you little whining детка (baby)". The other cheered happily and Russia couldn't help but smile at the childish country.

They both went on with their day, getting dressed, filling out some paperwork, answering some important calls, et cetera. They worked hard and quick. Their friendly behavior from earlier vanished as they became more serious throughout the rest of the day.

Some time later, both countries were able to finish their labor. They could relax for a bit before continuing to work. America and Russia spent that free time cuddling in the sofa. Russia was gently stroking America's head as they nuzzled his arm while hugging it too.

"Hey didn't you invite your brother over today?" Russia asked. America nodded. "Yep! He should be here any time soon," they checked the time before adding, "he's a few minutes late but he'll come or at least give us a call if something's up."

Russia nodded, as they waited for the America's sibling to come over. But the few minutes turned into hours and there were no calls from him. America was growing concerned and decided to send him a call. He never answered.
