🗒 ❛ chapter five ༉‧

"what do you mean by put on a show, again?" you asked bakugou, as both of you proceed to the benches behind the cafeteria area.

bakugou let out a sigh, one of the many he had already been letting out.

he rubbed his temples with his fingers. "i mean - we've got to convince everyone that there's something going on between us. so like, maybe while we sit on the bench, i can flirt with you or whatever and we can wait for pinky to pass by, and then she sees us."

bakugou was right, you thought. mina always passed by this area to go to the cafeteria, and once she sees both of you, she will spread the news like fire.

after this, you could just tell shouto that all of this is fake, and will be over soon.

but, the person who passed by the area that day wasn't mina, but shouto.

you and bakugou sat on the bench, closest you could get to each other without bakugou bursting in anger, you trying not the laugh out of awkwardness in this serious situation.

bakugou collected himself, trying to control the anger rising in this situation. no matter how much he wanted to quit, he told himself, do it for eiji.

"shut up, idiot." he said, his voice already sounding like he'll shout and any moment. you gulped hard, feeling someone come up from behind.

yes! mina's here! you thought. bakugou seemed to notice too, as you scooted closer to him, signalling him to start with the act.

both of you could feel the person's eyes on you two, they had quite the...intense stare, you could say.

you started to laugh as bakugou slipped a hand in your waist, pulling you a little closer.

"hahah- bakugou! im ticklish there! baku-" you tried to laugh as much as you could, hitting bakugou on the thigh to stop him. bakugou seemed to be furious about you laughing, not knowing he was the one causing it.

"shut the fuck up, do you wanna fuckin' die? 'yer gettin' on my nerves now." bakugou growled, seeing his plan crumble before his eyes.

you looked back, seeing the cafeteria door close, telling you that the person, which you both beleived was mina, had already left.

you sighed, starting to stand up.
"really, bakugou? you don't know how to flirt at all. all you did was tickle me."

bakugou stood up, now starting to shout as noone was near anymore. "HAH?! I FUCKIN' KNOW HOW TO FLIRT YOU DUMBASS. 'YER JUST NOT THE ONE I WANNA FLIRT WITH. FUCKIN' IDIOT."

you pressed your lips and shook your head in disappointment, knowing this was how bakugou usually behaved so you didn't take any offense.

you remembered about your lunch date with shouto, which you missed today. it was not like you forgot about it, but bakugou was so desperate so you had to help him.

you also had planned that you will take shouto to some other place as compensation tonight.

"let's just fuckin' hope it was pinky who saw us. if it was some other extra this would all be fuckin' waste." bakugou said, putting both of his hands in his two pockets.

he wasnt wrong, but what's the worse that could happen, right?

lunch was already over, meaning that you and bakugou had to go back to the class together.

both of you entered the class, all of the students already seated on their seats, sound of quiet chatters filling the classroom.

everyone turned to you and bakugou when you entered together, mina already having a smirk plasted across her face.

you sat on your seat, noticing shouto's seat was empty behind you. you wondered where he was when it's almost time for aizawa to enter the class.

the door opened with a swing, revealing shouto and kirishima, and behind them was aizawa with a bunch of papers in his hand.

yuh updating this after so long :D btw for those who might not have gotten it, bakugou and y/n thought mina was the one seeing them flirt or whatever but it was actually shouto and they don't know that HSHSHSHS LOVE THE CHAOS 🥶‼️
