On the third Saturday of August every year, we celebrate World Honeybee Day!🐝 Honey bees are super-important pollinators for flowers, fruits, and vegetables. This means that they help other plants grow! Bees transfer pollen between the male and female parts, allowing plants to grow seeds and fruit. But honey bees don't only pollinate crops — they also pollinate wild and native plants, thus contributing to all the environmental and societal benefits attributed to pollinators in general. For this flashfic contest, we will pay homage to our pollinating heroines!

This treasure, in all its pure golden beauty, looked an awfully lot like....honey? But you're not the only one who's discovered this treasure.
