THE TWO GIRLS WERE STILL inside their cabin, Ziggy setting up the revenge prank and Kimberly reading one of her favourite books by Stephen King. they could hear the campers getting ready for the upcoming colour war but payed no attention to it, completely blocking out the sound of screaming children and chanting Sunnyvalers.

"What do you really think was up with Mary?" Ziggy asked suddenly.

Kim poked her head over the top of her book, looking over to her friend. "I don't know, she seemed fine when I went to see her. Although, she looked at me and Michael weirdly"

"Probably because you're always arguing and all of a sudden he's bringing you into the infirmary, all worried and that." Ziggy snorted, shaking off the aching in her arm as she continued to turn the paint.

"Yeah... probably." Kim smiled slightly. "Maybe it's this whole Sarah Fier stuff. I mean, you hear the things kids say about Ruby Lane, how she was possessed, a psycho, she just snapped out of nowhere. What about you? Did she seem any different with you?"

"Yeah, kinda, she was acting all shady and shit. Like I found this book and it was open on a page about the witches mark, like Sarah Fier kinda stuff. And then she was all... aggressive when she put my bandage on, muttering about how ruby was so sweet and how she would never hurt anybody until that one night, you know."

Kim nodded, displaying her understanding and closed her book, putting it on her nightstand and standing up, stretching her body out. She walked over to Ziggy and looked in the bucket, seeing her mixing glue and red paint. "Carrie?"

The ginger looked up and smirked at her friend, "You know it."

"Honestly, probably one of my least favourites." The blonde admitted, shrugging her shoulders.

"Yeah, well, you always like the weird ones or the underrated ones so."

Kimberly rolled her eyes playfully and smiled over at her best friend. In all honesty, she was so glad she had Ziggy, because without her blue-eyed companion, she would have no one to make fun of Sunnyvalers with, no one to laugh at Cindy Bermans silly 'perfectionist bullshit view of the world' and no one to sit with and watch the world turn to hell. Without Ziggy, Kim would've never found who she truly was. Without Ziggy, Kim was lost.

She removed her gaze from the working girl and walked back over to her original space, picking her book up and continued reading before a thought popped into her mind, "Hey, what did the book say? You know, the one that Nurse Lane had."

"Oh, uh, something about, making a deal with the devil, Sarah Fier cutting off her hand in exchange for living forever, keeping a grip upon the land. Why?"

"Oh, it's just, my mum used to use Sarah Fier as a dumb excuse to get me to sleep, if I didn't sleep, I'd see all of Sarah's victims and her, it worked a dream but... it was so... so-"

"So stupid" Ziggy finished.

Kim laughed, "Yeah, stupid. It went something like they thrust their fists against the post and still insist they see her ghost."
